    Seedlings looking deformed

    a. no way this is overwatering. this is totally a ph issue b. soilless mixes are ideal for seeds if used correctly. But that ain't easy. c. let's hope so, that indeed they'll grow out of it. i'm having many seedlings that are looking like this in the coco.

pH won't go down in coco! pro response needed

I made the mistake of sprouting my seeds in very hard and alkaline tap water (EC 0.7, pH 7.8). Now the pH of the coco (both in runoff and in sample) is way too high (6.4-6.8)! And I can't get it down no matter how much I flush it with 5.6. My seedlings are all messed up and twisted, many...

2 seedlings 1 cup - what is the optimal time to separate?

results: the plant was removed as gently as possible from the medium and replanted in a similar medium. Both plants died shortly after. Conclusion: Better to just let them grow. Thanks everyone who tried to help.

My plants are really messed up :( Please help!

Also, if your humidity is low, you can try foliar feeding while being careful not to get too much on the buds. only if you feel safe from mold issues.

My plants are really messed up :( Please help!

well your quantities don't sound so much. and I think the poster above was right - your problems are likely due to the size of the pot more than anything. So I don't expect flushing and refeeding to do wonders here. But you have some lessons for next time. Pot size, and not growing plants so...

salt build up and nut lockout

yes you have the right idea enzymes will help. and so will a flushing agent. but coco is easy - you don't need 3 times the volume. to prevent salt burns from happening, feed your plants always with 30% runoff. Also, once every month or so, flush your plants with more than that, but no need for...

    PH Problems I Think?

even if it is, you can't fix it without a ph test kit and it might be, yeah

Please help what is a matter with my girls.

yes but don't be extreme about it, better to do it gradually. then again, I never had much luck lowering soil pH, especially with hard water like yours that's hard to lower. If possible, get some distilled/filtered or even mineral water.

Strange, indescribable plant growth and leaf yellowing...help?

burnt is when people don't know what the problem is so they use this as a generic answer. chemical problems in the medium is the real answer. could be EC too low (not enough nutes), could be EC too high (too much nutes/time release fertilizers), could be pH off, could be that one element locks...

Please help what is a matter with my girls.

don't worry, you made some mistakes but you will learn and your next grows will be better. MG is not good for growing. It probably has time release ferts which are bad for the plants. If this is the case, DO NOT FLUSH. I'd stop feeding all together. Also, adjust the pH of your water to 6.5, and...

once again - trouble for seedlings in coco - strange shit

I think this is either pH, or a genetic thing. The only nutrient burn I can see there is on the biggest plant, and that is from when it was in unph-ed tap water. then again that plant didn't have growth stunt, and is so far the best of them.

once again - trouble for seedlings in coco - strange shit

yeah but they were unhappy before the feeding as well. also, if you check out the previous grow, you'll see that what helped them eventually was feeding them. coco is not like soil you see.
