soil with no fertilizer pls help explain

Whole run with NFTG, it's got lots of good stuff in it, not plain... but it won't burn anything. You'd be fine just in the Ocean Forest to be honest, just won't need to add nutes for three weeks or so maybe...

    How do you dry?

Oh, and I differ from a lot of people in that I hang upside down the entire plant for a day or two only, then cut off individual parts/colas that I just hang in my closet for a couple of days. Then when things are just starting to feel like they are getting dry, I chop into smaller branches and...

    How do you dry?

Yeah don't over-complicate it. From my experience, how you dry is not as important as when you jar and keeping an eye on humidity in the jars... Most importantly, don't dry too fast, and don't jar too soon. And calibrate your hygrometers that go in the jars... Get it down to 64-65 in the jar...

soil with no fertilizer pls help explain

I've had good luck with Happy Frog, it's not completely nute free, but it's mostly humic acid which is great for root development and young plants... I've been doing entire grows in just this with no issues. Lately however, I've switched to NFTG soil #4... Ocean Forest is indeed probably too...

    Fan leaf with 12 fingers!

Interesting - yeah this unknown male that originally I took pollen from has made the most vigorous strains and was a very hardy male... super strong branches, quick growth. Has been a good base for pollen chucking :) The taste is sadly just sorta regular, kinda flowery smelling, so I'm hoping...

    Fan leaf with 12 fingers!

Thanks! Ayahuasca Purple (Barney's) fem crossed with an unknown hyrid type strain male... The cola in the back, and also the bottom left are just Ayahuasca Purple... But yeah, odd I thought that someone else would have such a similar looking weird leaf. I guess it's not that uncommon. I like...

    NFTG. Nectar For The Gods

OK, I'll just throw out the rest of my big bloom then probably... I'm already ramping up with the Gaia... I still have reading to do :)

Hermie? Also twisty tips of leaves?

Hmm, no I don't see any nanners at all, but the pics would probably need to be close up... To me that looks more like heat stress... In general, the strain I do grow that likes to make nanners usually doesn't make them this soon.. Could possibly be some kind of ph/lockout issue... What are you...

    NFTG. Nectar For The Gods

OK, I have a quart of Photosynthesis Plus coming in a few days. How much of this do you need to add, and with what frequency? In the meantime, I was wondering if my old bottle of Big Bloom would serve a similar purpose? Also, second watering has been completed, the plants don't seem to be any...

    NFTG. Nectar For The Gods

Yeah I wondered about that, guy at the local store told me the orange/blue stuff would work ok, but I agree, going to go for the entire product line eventually...

    NFTG. Nectar For The Gods

So earlier in this thread I had said I was going to wait to use NFTG on my current run, but after a lot of reading, I decided to go ahead and start using the basic schedule with my current girls which are mid week four flower now. So far so good! My slurry test was right on 6.4 ph, ppms were...

    Let's talk strains and seedbanks!

I have also used SensibleSeeds with no problems, although one package did have the beans swiped by customs. I didn't use the super stealth options though and I did use insurance, so it wasn't a problem. The freebies I got were not the most stable phenos I've ever seen (O.G. Kush) but it was a...

    When to start flush??

I don't know about coco, but in general, don't worry about trichs in terms of when to harvest/flush or whatever, just learn first to judge the plant as a whole - once the calyxes have swollen up good and aren't getting fatter anymore, and most of the pistils have receded/browned, then what I do...

Anyone used a re-mailing service? US based seed banks

Well I mean who doesn't like baked beans right? :)

Anyone used a re-mailing service? US based seed banks

My last shipment of seeds was swiped by customs a while back, and I've been thinking of using a remailer service anyway so that seeds aren't coming to the grow location directly - one of these places that gives you a US address, and will then forward packages to your home... Anyone used such a...
