well clones dont need a lot of light, i have seen many people use a t8 strip for a whole row of clones. you could use a few 13w if you want.

i wish this was the case but unfortunately its not. in fact, if you plan to try to force the plant to flower before its sexually mature it causes high amounts of stress and is more likely to turn hermie. but a lot of people grow 12/12 from seed and they get females. they will grow about 1'-2'...

4-6 cuttings should do pretty well under a few 26 watt cfls. probly 3 of them for the lot.

vape it, or just let it dry for a few days in the dark.

well i have a few that have been vegging for a week and are a few inches tall so now would be a good time to flip the lights. i just know that last time i vegged plants i vegged for a month before switching the lights, then they didnt show sex for a week or 2 after that. im just gonna try 12/12...

i really do want to buy some feminized strains because there are a few strains that look SO tasty, but im not up for the whole buying seeds online right now cuz lets just say the area im in isnt exactly a medical state.

well all the bag seed i have ever grown from this baggie have been indica dom. i have never grown 12/12 from seed but i have seen pics of peoples plants growing like an ounce. i might as well give it a shot, but how long until they show sex? if its less than a month im gonna go ahead and switch...

you dont want it to be too cold, but theres nothing wrong with alternating from natural and artificial lighting.

I have a bunch of mixed genetic bag seed that I want to grow and I just hate the thought of vegging multiple plants for at least up to 2-3 months just to find they are males. So is 12-12 from seed worth the time saved even though each plant doesnt produce much?

yea man if your plants were only 2 weeks into flower then they dont have much thc on them. i would save em anyways and throw it in with other cuttings with more sugar leaves and make some oil.

agreed. be patient and dont throw away your clones if they dont root in a few days. also, if your rooting gel/powder isnt working, try the water cloning method. it takes weeks but ive heard people having high success rates with it.

the trauma from cutting the buds would set your plant WAYYYY back if you wanted to start growing it again. im pretty sure plants cant grow back bud sites after you vegged and harvested, someone correct me if im wrong.

400 watts for 42 plants? thats impossible. the outer plants wont receive nearly the amount of light they need to strive.

he just said they are still vegging and just now showing sex. you kinda have to grow them to know if they are males or females. OR you can BUY seeds online.

I have a boat load of bag seeds that are all mixed. None of them are feminized. My question is how can i grow the most of these seeds to get the most females without taking up a lot of space. I mean, do i really have to pop one seed in each gallon pot until they reach maturity? Can i pop a few...

well the longer you keep a mother alive, the more it becomes susceptible to rot, deficiencies, and over all bad health. if you clone a plant for months or even years then it may affect the clones. but as long as your bud is still dank and you are getting high yields then who cares!? :mrgreen:

you can foliar feed all the way up until about 3-4 weeks before harvest. i dont think it will develop its sexual maturity any faster but it will definitely get the nutrients into the plants much faster which causes a sporadic growth spurt in leaves. I always foliar feed for at least the veg state.

from that angle in difficult to tell. those things sticking out arent pistils. i see little round things under that which may be pollen sacks but get another shot at a better angle.
