lol, as if the company is gonna hand you 2% extra instead of pocketing it themselves.

dream on.
If you think companies actually pay taxes--ever--you're ignorant of reality. Companies never pay taxes. Never. Let me say it again: never. When you tax a company, the consumers pay the tax. Always. Every dollar in tax that a company pays is a dollar added to the price of a good or a dollar subtracted from a salary.

i'm not a true believer in single payer. england does that, their way is not so great. still cheaper than ours, covers everyone, and gives damn good care overall, but not something that would work for us. too socialistishy to work.
Cheaper than yours but been reading that youre more likely to die from cancer and certain other things like superbugs here. I thought Obamacare was like our healthcare but guessing it doesnt get thrown in with tax like ours. Is it the fact youre all privatized thats stopping that I suppose? All I know atm is I wont go to america to die

you only get top notch health care in america if you can afford it.

otherwise, america has a system similar to any third world country for the poor here.

and unlike in switzerland or japan, where going broke or losing your house due to illness would be scandalous, here it is a fact of life.

but all we need is tort reform and cross state lines. that is the permanent and ultimate solution to health care.

That is not true for me...I own and operate a company and when I make a profit I pay tax's ...Some years I invest to make the company grow and then I may not pay much in corporate tax's...The state of oregon tax's my company every month, they take 3% of my gross dollars....So you are miss led a little bit....just so you know..

So what US business people arent paying the same taxes?
Again

So fucking what?
It's the price of doing business here
Why do you think businesses are off-shoring? It's because it is too expensive to manufacturer here and they can still sell here. The ultimate cost is Americans losing jobs.

So you don't roll that cost into the price you charge?
I can't I wish I could....I sell to other companies that deal with the public and they sell for what ever they can get. So I just work and pay tax's...If there is a profit I pay, and if there isn't a profit I still pay. The state takes 3% whether I make a profit or not, it comes off the gross..

AND the other 200+ fixes that have been proposed by members of both parties as an alternative to the debacle we are about to witness. But, we can't talk about all those or we wouldn't be able to say stupid shit like above.

ObamaCare is enjoying a 28-30% approval rate, a number that will probably plummet when the low-information voters find out that you DON'T ACTUALLY GET FREE HEALTHCARE WHEN YOU PAY THE FINE. That is what these people actually believe.

The reality of the "cheapest plan" is somewhere between $100-300+ per month depending on your subsidy, then the fun begins. Co-pays until you have paid $2000 of them and a $5000 deductible before the plan pays for shit. Which works as a catastrophic policy for someone with money, but is total shit for a low income individual who can barely pay their rent. Then when they realize they still can't afford health insurance, they get fined/taxed/whatever and STILL HAVE ZERO COVERAGE. Can you picture the faces of all these doe-eyed morons that voted for Obama thinking they were getting "free" healthcare, at the moment the above is explained to them? And of course, after the curtains have been pulled back to expose their naïveté, they come in to work and find out their employer has cut them to 29 hours a week.

The unions shitting a brick over all this is just a cherry on top.

Surely you know how much you want to earn and you take the tax consequences into consideration when making your decisions. For example, you presumably charge more for your whatever you do than you would if the state didn't tax you every month. Economic actors typically do this without even thinking about it.
