nice robo e-mail re-post. why not just hashtag the b.s. group you got this from?

THE BREAKDOWN OF THE MODERN CONSERVATIVE TALKING POINT*:

WHATEVER YOU OPPOSE infinges upon the rights of freedom liberty and personal responsibility. WHATEVER YOU OPPOSE will open the door to eternal debt, servitude, dictatorships, government control.

Freedom, liberty and personal responsibility will be ruined by WHATEVER YOU OPPOSE. < Say. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat again.

*Whatever you do, do not go into specifics, do not mention the problems that need solutions, and do not discuss why you oppose it. Just follow the above formula, repeat, repeat again.
ORLY?
what robo-email do you propose that text came from?

go ahead, google it.

you just keep on telling yourself that being a republican, or even a Republican (note the difference) means ignorant robot who can only regurgitate trite slogans from his masters.

thats a more apt description of lefties than those of us who believe in a Republic.

also, i love the ad hoiminem, it's the BEST way to win an argument.

PS. Obamacare sucks big juicy donkey cocks. i read the final draft (all 200 kajillion pages of interwoven labyrinthine legalspeak) and it conceals a great many ills, and is gonna cost a packet.
and the "poor" will still get fucked 3 ways from sunday, and now have to pay for the privilege.

i don't need to tell myself that, i just need to wait a few more sentences.

and there it is.

apparently you reading compensation has failed you, because now minimum wage losers like you whose accumulated lifetime worth of skills and knowledge and "wisdom" (LOL!) are worth no more than near poverty level minimum wages are now covered by medicare.

tell me how much you will have to pay for the medicare you will soon be eligible for. i'll wait.

4% of my wages, plus 6% for Sosh security, plus the Income tax, plus various other fees taxes levies and assessments which total out to ~30% of my wages then the remaining 70% must be spent on all manner of things which are not provided by the all powerful benevolent Gubbbmint, even though "we got obama in president yo".

that 70% keeps getting smaller and the things it buys keep getting more expensive, but of course thats not true cuz obama says "we aint got no inflation problem"

unlike you, i cannot live under a rock on a mudflat, and i cannot feed on detritus and decaying animal matter i find in the silt.

false.

medicare withholding is 1.45%, not 4%.

social security has nothing to do with the cheap health care you will now be eligible for.

minimum wage losers like you do not face anywhere near 30% in taxes, either.

drop the persecution complex, you lying sack of shit.

you are now the most prolific liar on this board. a good 80% of the shit you spew is demonstrable lies.

It's actually worse than Kynes indicated--you're only considering the employee contribution. Medicare is 1.45% for the employee and 1.45% for the employer; likewise, social security is 6.2% for the employee and 6.2% for the employer. If you make $50,000, your share is $3,825, but your employer also pays $3,825, which is money he doesn't hand to you. Self-employed people have to pay the whole tax themselves.

no, it is 2%, plus 2% matching funds from my employer, and in ncase you forgot, most of the medicare monies are paid from General Funds, of which Sosh Security is a part. there is no "Lockbox" any more, so yes my Sosh Security taxes are just another generalfund revenue stream.

you forget the "Income tax, plus various other fees taxes levies and assessments" which does total out to ~30% of my net wages when you add it all up.

Gas taxes, vehicle registration taxes, state taxes, county assessments, local sales taxes, excise taxes, sin taxes, use taxes, etc etc etc..

even a common fishing license with no special tags for salmon sturgeon or abalone etc costs $100/year now.
hunting licenses are similar, auto and motorcycle registration taxes are rising every year even as my hoopties get older, the vehicle insurance mandate causes my vehicle insurance to rise every year, etc etc etc. it all adds up.

calif makes the medicare tax 2% (plus employer matching) to help defray the costs of Medi-Cal.

Minnesota Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann likened President Obama to a drug dealer.
“President Obama can’t wait to get Americans addicted to the crack cocaine of dependency on more government health care,” she said in an interview with the far-right WorldNetDaily site where she regularly gives explosive interviews.
Once they enroll millions of more individual Americans, it will be virtually impossible for us to pull these benefits back from people,” Bachmann continued. “All they want to do is buy love from people by giving them massive government subsidies.”

if you were ever in a position to hire anybody, you would figure the cost of the employee's entire "benefit package" including the cost of the matching funds for medicare sosh security unemployment etc..

this is part of your compensation even if you never see it, because it is part of the cost of hiring you.

just like excise taxes on cigarettes in calif, they added the Meathead tax of "Only" 50 cent per pack (at retail) with a second identical 50 cent /pack tax on the distributors which of course is added to the cost at retail (plus a little for the paperwork, and because every cost needs a profit attached)

50 cents + 50 cents = $1 (plus the cost accounting vig which is secret) but many like you chirped on and on about how it wasnt a dollar, it was being "exaggerated" by "Big Tobacco" too bad a few people still know how to do math, despite the failing schools and their "lottery money" (which is subtracted from General Fund monies creating a net ZERO school funding)

your willful ignorance is distressing.

You've obviously never hired anyone. When I did it, I had to reduce the pay I was willing to offer based on the taxes I would have to pay. The fact that the money doesn't come directly out of your pocket doesn't mean that it's not ultimately coming out of your pocket.

more unattributed copy/paste, which is unsurprisingly, irrelevant to the discussion at hand.

lol, as if the company is gonna hand you 2% extra instead of pocketing it themselves.

dream on.

Learn new skills. Increase your individual value. Standing still will never get you ahead. Go ahead and cry like a Marxist because you make the same money doing the same job that you've been doing the past 8 years.

You seem to be confused. I said I had to pay people less, considering the tax cost of hiring them. That has nothing to do with what you just said. You're pretending that employer costs are irrelevant to employee salaries, which just serves to expose your ignorance.
