well its watering day today so filled up my 50 litre bucket out side yesterday
went out about 20 min ago ph'ed it to 6.5 came in and just decided to check my ph pen
with ph 7 buffer and my pen was off it read 7.3 re-calibrated it and re-ph'ed my water
shit just remembered should have added the canna flush before i ph'ed last time i used it it took my ph way down to like 4.something
oh no don't know what to do now don't like putting to much ph up and down in the water and i have used both today went under by .3 so had to ph up.
what do you think i should do give it the plain ph'ed water or add the flush and re-ph?

i cut a bud last night as a tester
only weighted about 1g after quick dry in microwave
put about .2g in a joint tasted crap and got little effect off it so put the rest in the next
had quite a nice effect a light heady stoned quite a nice funny feeling i now know that when it reaches full potency that i will be pleased with it
its got busy in here over the last few days

yeah thats tricky with the water, i would prly just try plain water- and if thats incredibly off adjust once from there- but water thats been adjusted all over the place may not be good- then again it could be really good... with stuff like this it becomes a total experiment-
unique method of drying in the microwave, i prefer to just set it near a space heater and fan that has worked for me... does the microwave affect potency?
I have a friend who swears by drying his blunts in a microwave... it always makes me kinda hesitant to smoke it... radiation?

just gave them the water,
i use paper towels sandwich the bud (cut in to small pieces ) between 3-4 towels wet the top one not wet but damp then nuke them on defrost for 50 secs then leave for 2 mins and repeat if the top towel dries out damp in again this stops the temp of the bud exceeding 90 (that when the triks pop )and helps to dry it slower it took about an hour before it was ready to smoke
i am not quite sure if it effect potency but if it does not get to hot i can't see how it could any one know different let me know
you eat food cooked in a microwave so why not smoke something you nuke?

huh, just seems odd to me, but as i said my friend swears by drying his blunts in it- so its gotta be ok- certainly not the same as good ole fashion curing, but for that test piece its prly a good way to dry it

so i have taken a few days off just checking the plants twice a day, my humidity has been about 70ish the last few days so i put a tray of perlite behind my fan this dropped it by 5%, then moved my meter to half way up my tent the humidity there is 50% so i am happy with that, heat remains at 30*daytime and 26*night next time i grow my light cycle will be at night i am thinking 9pm-9am lights on, this will save on electricity 1] cheaper to run at night 2] no heater needed at night 3] my kids will be in bed so easier to keep them from knowing about them
apart from that my plants look like they are dying the buds are remaining lush green but the leaves are a sorry state showing signs of multiple deficiency's and yellowing and falling off, i had about 20 fall off today the ones that fall off are very yellow and papery. i hope this is normal and just from the lack of nutes they only have about 14 days left before i plan on cutting them down.
also i found that looby is the only plant that has any seeds none of the others have any which is good, but looby and trinity have started to show little banana shaped flowers on them , after reading up i believe that they are hermy due to stress, o well there is nothing i can do about it now.
i have posted some pictures but just can't get a good marco shot will try again soon

i am afraid of getting them and since i have never seen one- i am that much more afraid. i have heard u can cut the herm part off tho- if your super careful not to spread pollen.

yes, i heard you can castrate them but the chances of getting the all is slim as if its a full hermy the grapes/balls can grow in amongst the buds, but i think they only hermy'ed when i flushed them i kept them up 3-4 hours past their bed time and flushed them with like ph 10ish water not good, surprised they survived , not surprised they got stressed and turned gay on me.

Day 60 of flowering
ok so i was going to post some pictures yesterday but thing happen, also i was meant to water my plants on sunday they got done today.
my plants look ill they are continuing to lose there leave, i had them under the microscope the triks are 50% clear 45% milky and 5% amber,
i am thinking 10 days till i crop them 1 more watering then 6 days in soil to dry out a bit before i kill them.
i took a couple of pictures of the male flowers these are mainly on looby she is covered in them, trinity only has about 5 the other two seam un-effected by stress

K...you should consider keeping the 2 true females alive. I think you should reveg them if you like the smoke enough. All you have to do is give them low doses of nutes now, leave a few of the smaller bottom branches and buds on after harvest, and then give them some grow formula nutes to get them vegging again. They might carry the hermy gene, but as long as you aren't breeding with them, it doesn't matter. They also might hermy years from now, but its Northern Lights, you know?

i have looked into re-veg and it is tempting but i want to try something else, i have have seeds left and will be getting more when i crop, i can always come back to this strain.
i want to start a new strain when i grow next, don,t know if i want to grow from seed or get some clones off a mate,
i plan on starting my next grow in about 6 weeks from now, in that time i can open up my tent and fit a concealed door into the cupboard and look at getting a carbon filter as i think i am going to need one this time,
with not knowing 100% what strain it is (like i said i am 90% its n/l ) i have given the strain my own name from now on its HUNTSMAN #1
10 days left i am a bit sad at this as i have got attached to my plants and will find it strange to come down to an empty space, but there will be more to fill that space soon. but on the other hand i can not wait to try it when its dried out in about 24 days
i will update soon maybe some more trik pictures

I think you are correct to see it through and move on. We need to find out if Huntsman#1 is any good or not.
If your mate can give you clones, dont look a gift horse in the mouth, id take his hand off, lol
Its a sad time when you dont have them to look after, get yourself into sog and you will never be lonely.

i am tempted by the clones they are £10 each not free but def female, but i have another plan (for the moment)
i have changed my mind about the next grow i now think i am going to do a side by side grow to see which technique suits me i want to run 3
1 soil BIO BIZZ i know i said i would not do soil again but this seams a good idea for now
2 coco perlite don't know the best mix i was thinking 80%c to 20%p also don't know if to use soil or hydro nutes or do you need coco nutes? i believe you grow in coco userfriendly what mix do you use and which nutes?
3 hempy bucket 100% perlite
this way i can try out all the different methods to see which i get the best results from
what do you lot think is it a bit hair brained?
