AAAGGGHHH!!! The old Red Leb - lovely stuff, haven't had it in 20 years I'm sure. Used to get a lot of it here, along with the various blacks that were doing the rounds. Thanks kulan hunter, you brought back a lot of nice memories

i was 19 last time i had leb and it made me laugh my t*ts off. i would love to get some of that again, wonder if it still made?. has anyone had red leb in the last couple of years?. i would love to know which plant that was made from.(i will have to look that one up)

golf ball, double zero and vw have been some other favs of mine.

also black was easier to cut i used to deal back then. back then it was £120 an oz and £8 a teenth. why is it so rare now?

From what i know red leb is lebonese hash made from more mature plants, aperently they let the seeds form on the plants then harvest to make this hash. There are 4 grades of it though. heres an example.

The high quality Lebanese hashish available in Lebanon is very good. But the Lebanese hashish available in most areas of the world is not very potent, as far as hashish goes.
It is usually gold (blond leb) red (red leb) or brown (brown leb). The darker colors come from older plants that were allowed to mature before harvest.
If you break a piece off and look closely, you can usually see the small resin glands. This goes for most hash made by using the sieve process mentioned above.
Using the method described above, 100 pounds of marijuana was passed through 4 screens.
The yield was about
1.0 pound of premium hashish.
1.5 pounds of 2nd grade hashish.
3.5 pounds of 3rd grade hashish.
6.0 pounds of 4th grade hashish.
Starting with 100 pounds of marijuana yielded 12 pounds of hashish (a 12% return). Yields usually vary between 10-20% when sieving. Lower grade hashish is sold but the premium hashish is kept by the producers and used personally, or sold at an extremely high price. "

Lebanese is an actual "pure" strain of cannabis. It is an indica strain apparently, although I have seen the odd reference to it being an idica / sativa cross (I doubt this). See http://www.smoke-nut.com/dictionary/cannabis-strains/

I have tried to find Lebanese seeds on the web but can only see Lebanese / Thai crosses for example (most sellers seem to have them).

Hi KH, thread is coming along good M8, I been busy getting made redundant so had plenty shit on my plate for the last couple weeks. Sorry I havent been keeping up. I been telling all my growin m8s about the honey oil clip on Ychoob. Yours looks like it was well constructed. How much trim did you use and would you do anything different next time? Its certainly something im gona try - sooon, lol.

How is the rest of the grow coming on? This aint the place to say, but I believe my Thai stick is not a thai, but a white widow crosse with big bud! Bit of a difference but I had a couple people round that know their shit and im happy with the prognosis. It seems miraculous to manage to get such good seed from some pretty crap grade brick weed.

i would love to get some leb to grow. i looked at doing hash before i decided to make oil. like those links.

nice to hear from you DJ, i used about (guess did not weigh it) 10ish grams.
next time i will be making it bigger and using a better filter and not dropping trim in the butane, i think also the plant i just dried was not mature and i should have waited longer.

the other plants are still in the tent i am checking the trics every 3-4 days they have more milky trics but as of yet i can't find one amber tric anywhere, but as soon as i do i will post some pics its not worth posting any yet as they have changed very little.

are you happy you got w/w instead?

I dont think I could be assed with the hash making. Oil looks the dogs though. Im the same waiting for some orange trics, its an awful wait. Ive just lobbed off my 2nd bud from her - she's fine and yeah, im made up they're all w/w. I need to do more research myself but its encouraging.

SO hi all, sorry i have not been around but with one thing and another i just haven't had the time to do everything i want so the main reason i have not been on is this,



i got a 42" 1080p tv for my ps3 HHHmmmmmmm, so i have been a bit distracted,

right on to my grow were was i, from the first plant i cropped i got a total of 22g the smoke was mild but worth smoking.

since then plans have changed which i will tell you about soon, so i cropped another plant about 4 days ago and have hung it as the full plant in a cardboard box, its still dampish, i have not seen 2 amber trics together yet or one but i am now planning the next grow so i am cropping them over the next 4 weeks to make way for the next.

so i have 2 plants left to play with i have been looking at changing my light i have seen one i like its a 600w with Grolux Dual Spectrum Bulb for £70 which i think is pretty good not sure about the bulb yet.

also i have changed my grow tent so here are some pics,


ok so its now a grow room, the walls need painting white and i will need to fit a carbon filter as the next grow is going to be smelly, and when i get the new light i will have to fit a outlet to the room but that is already planned, i have moved the ballasts out of the room this has cut the temp down and it is now at 79 tops. as you can see the wiring is a bit dodgy but its not worth doing a better job as it will be changing in the next month,



there was a grill at the back of the cupboard so i knocked it out a bit and made a fan box to pull cold air in from outside i need to fit a filter to this to stop crap coming in to the room.

o and a pic of my grow supplies up to yet..



i think i will get the ionics soil grow just to complete the set but i think i will be using canna for my next grow, and i think i will be growing in soil (the experiment will have to wait a while)

Glad you got a decent haul and a favourable smoke from your first crop - well done Your remaining plants look awesome btw, as does your new grow room. The plants look like they should be ripe anytime, so you should have plenty of smoke to keep you going for a while. ok quick up date

i have cut the remaining two plants down, this is to get the room ready for the next grow i will be playing with DWC on some bag seed, and hopefully getting a cutting from someone i know, the cutting will be vegged in soil then 6 clones taken to begin the grow proper. i will post the final yeild from this grow.

i am now smoking the last batch i cut and its not bad (if you just blunt it) its keeping me stoned thats the main thing.

Its been a Great journey mate. Excellent Journal and if its getting you stoned - dont knock it. Are you gonna start a fresh journal or keep this one going? Im a bit miffed what to do really. Got 4 generations so its hard to keep a specific journal, even harder to keep 4 specific journals.

DJ i know what you mean i have had problems with my internet and i have become quite busy, but its nice to hear from you again.

s/panda thanks as soon as i saw the pic i took of the plant i knew what i wanted to do with it it's pretty cool. but i will be changing it soon i think.

greenb i am a bit busy but bar that i am well and happy, the tv+ps3 have given me a few nights of no sleep but its worth it. to get stoned off Hunter#1 i have to smoke it with no tobacco and have about 3-4 spliffs, but its a nice stoned not a couch lock but its nice and i have sold about half an oz and got no complaints i sold it cheap and told them what it was like but we have a drought of green near me at the moment and some people i know don't like solid.

ok i got about 100g off all 4 plants if i had trimmed the plants fully (i got bored trimming leaves) i think i would have ended up with about 90g

i have also started a new grow i will put up a journal over the next day or so.

again thanks everybody for your help on this grow and i look forward to catching up on your grow journals
