Why we have a 2nd amendment and must keep it.

The right to bear arms is not being infringed. What *TYPE* of arms is what's in question.

Do you feel that regular citizens should be able to have any weapon? Grenades? Tanks? Nuclear bombs?

You can already have fully automatic weapons with the proper licenses. I dont think that should be infringed due to antique weapons that might not be able to be owned (gatling gun comes to mind).

OK. Fair enough. We may have to agree to disagree on where the line is drawn, but you are at least acknowledging that citizens should not have carte blanche access to any weapon of any kind.

Here is a USA today report, I think they read the police report......

Three weapons were found — a Glock and a Sig Sauer, both pistols, inside the school, and a .223-caliber rifle in the back of a car.
I didn't get the hole link but I can........I tend to believe this report well after the fact......there has been a lot of confusion.....It is hard for jurnalist to re write there storys and get it right...imo........nitro...

Being an inconvenience is about the worst excuse someone can use, imo.

Going to the secretary of state and waiting for 2 hours to renew my drivers license is an inconvenience too, but I do it because I understand there has to be a system in place that serves the general population and keeps half-blind grandmas off of the road.

Please do tell what right has been infringed upon ???? Last time I checked you have every right to bear arms and still can. The question is how much arms do you need to protect yourself ???? My .40 cal has a 30 round magazine,but I never use it. To damn big to go concealed. I still can get the job using 13 +1 with the G23 or 9 +1 with the G27...again I'm cool with limits on magazine capacities if it can stop a crazy from doing so much fucking damage

So we compromise on smaller magazines...

Then when another shooting happens we compromise automatic rifles...

Then when another shooting happens we compromise semi-automatic pistols....

Then when another shooting happens we compromise something else...
