Living the Florida Life. Kinda.

Just do what black women do.

But your idea of a "compliment" will have change. Instead of people saying,
"Your hair looks real nice"
They'll say
"Your hair looks real."

Been had? This is how it is in South Florida. Take yourself to the US 1 Discount mall in Goulds, they'll know what to do with your hair. Or they'll tell you to buy a wig.

It's behind the Winn Dixie and Best Buy. It's also known as the flea market, but the sign on the building (pretty big building) says discount mall.

Sorry had to leave. I allergic to something down here and I had to lay down and close my eyes for a bit.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I lived in FL until I was 20. Had the opportunity to move to Cali and haven't looked back since. The fishing is about the only perk to living in FL literally :/ the thunderstorms are kind of nice as long as you don't get caught out in it. The hurricanes are also something to experience :P I get all paranoid when I go back to FL and pick up a sac from my friends. it's such a shitty feeling. Maybe if it wasn't so conservative and filled with old snow birds it wouldn't be such a negative vibe. I figured medical cannabis would be in demand with all those old folks. hopefully in the next coming years cannabis won't be a concern.

how you feeling? ready to fish yet? :eyesmoke:
Heading to Minneapolis again. I gave most, alright all, of my winter wear away. Now what? I'd hate to buy a winter coat and boots again. Sweaters, thick socks, yuck. Though I do like the fall and winter styles this year. I'll be back around the 8th, then a wedding upnorth again on the 15th. Then hopefully I'll be free.

I understand what you mean about the old folks. Hopefully as my generation takes over here things will change. I still can't take the man (30 something) selling drugs next to the convenience mart. Man, don't do it outdoors in the open-stupid.

I used to like going out late at night and catch some good live music. I haven't found it here yet.
