The neighborhood party store (about the only place open after 9 pm) had an old lady run her car into it. The owner (Indian, the 'you are here' type) fixed the front door and left the outside looking like a red and white egg cup. But, he is open for business. This isn't a ghetto. Since I can see it across the street, I'm going to visit him and ask if he intends on fixing his building. And if so when, it's been 3 weeks already.

If he doesn't I'm visiting city hall. He should watch it - I've noticed the cars that pull to the left of the store and a person comes out of the woods and exchanges are made. He could be closed down as a nuisance. They already have cut his evening hours over it. WTF!
"Youa are here" meaning dot or feather? LOL
I got stories from dealing and working with some, and one friend, that swore up and down, his corner liqour store owner would swear his god given name was 'BOB' but he wore a turban:confused:

Anyway, a good number of the people down here can't drive. I can't tell you how many people I have seen make a left hand turn from the right hand lane. How they miss oncoming traffic is beyond me.

.
I grew up in NYC as a kid and moved away, my whole family is pretty much within 2 square miles which is awesome come holidays it make the drive worth it. and I can tell you that the bigger the city the less road markings seem to matter.

Witnessed the drug dealer last night. Again.

I really have nothing against someone selling some weed. But, I do not believe that is what he is selling unless it's joints. He has to go.

A reasonable drug law in FLA would take care of this like it did in Michigan. No more need to play hide and seek.

How are you winter women? Hows life?
Fantastic! I love it here.

The other day I was in a Winn-Dixie walking along the meat counter not really paying attention. When I looked up and there was this older man using a shopping cart to support himself looking at the meats too. He was frowning, really frowning, it was at this moment I realized he thought he'd have to walk around me. I just gave him a huge smile and went around him. He slowly, very slowly smiled back.

I hope as I get older that I don't turn into a person that forgets how to smile.
