Fox News is not endlessly repeating the Ron Paul mantra... Must mean they hate him.
I don't think they should endlessly repeat his nonsense. But in their review of the last poll, Ron Paul moved up into double digits. That's significant. They discussed Newt, Romney, Bachmann, Perry, and then ignored the guy who had the most significant poll bump. That is most definitely intentionally skipping over him.

I watched Bill O'rilley covering that last debate. He had some talking head on there who was discussing the debate/polls and every time the guy mentioned Ron Paul, ORilley immediately cut him off before he could finish speaking saying "but he can't win". He did it every time Paul's name was brought up. The commentator then mentioned how well he was polling in Iowa, Orilley then put the Iowa voters on blast.

The problem with that is that it's factually incorrect. He could win. Anyone who's polling that high in Iowa has a legitimate shot at winning.

Or... It isnt big news.
Except it is at this point.

Exactly, you don't even have to look for it to see it, Dan sees it..I don't know why you don't NLXSK1, do you only watch freedom watch and neil cavuto or something cause those are pretty much the only shows. How can they have hour plus long discussions about the campaign and dare not utter his name DAY AFTER DAY....

Won't vote for Ron Paul

Great personal freedoms policies
Great foreign, stay the fuck out of the shit, policies

Near total deregulation to let the average citizen get raped without a kiss blows it for me.
I disagree, for one, the state is there for whatever protection you seek. The other is Obummer and the Feds which is one in the same, be it Slick Rick or Nitt Mitt, or Newt gangusgingrich. They rob from us in the name of the "law" to give to the lazy slacker. I am the one getting raped without a kiss, in my opinion. I am on strike. For two years I will not and do not work. I live off my savings and do not spend loosely. No more Lexus or Benz leases, got rid of my 4 houses and 2 million in revolving Real Estate loans. I am moving to Fl to skip the 10% state tax as I open my internet businesses and if RP does not become Pres. I am locked and loaded to be an Ex-patriot living abroad and exempt on the first 80k a year I make. STRIKE!
I am done paying for other meat heads while the Feds rape me at 40% and the state digs 10% then then the kiss of death, Self employ tax of 15% Screw you and those who cannot fend for themselves. I will teach you to fish, but do not hang out at my camp waiting for me to get back from fishing.

I see it and I'm not a Ron Paul supporter in the slightest.

I'm just trying to be fair. Since I'm one of the few non-Ron Paul supporters on this board, I feel like I'm being objective about this.

Before I thought it was bullshit. Ron Paul was polling in single digits and wasn't really in a position where he could win any states so I didn't think he was that newsworthy. But now that's changed. He's now a legitimate contender and deserves the same coverage other candidates got when they were in the same position.

To MSNBC's credit, since the national polling which has him in double digits and the Iowa polling which has him within the margin of error of the front runners came out, MSNBC has sort of jumped on the bandwagon. They've been giving him the warranted amount of press coverage.

CNN I don't think is intentionally snubbing Paul. They are just really bad at what they do. It's not even news anymore. It's more like TMZ for politics. If Ron Paul wants to cheat on his wife with Lindsey Lohan, they'll cover that. But they are no longer a legitimate news organization any more. So it's to be expected they don't give him coverage.

Fox on the other hand is clearly and intentionally snubbing him based on his political views. It's unmistakable. They even set up all his debate questions to put him on the wrong side of Iowa issue polling, and then didn't ask him very much about the issues he draws the most favorable responses. And their coverage of him is an embarrassment even by the low standards of TV/internet news. They are showing a degree of bias they usually only reserve for democrats.

I know why they're doing it though. If Paul gets a lot of votes, but doesn't win, he's going to go 3rd party in the general election, crushing the republicans chances of winning. They want to make sure he doesn't have enough support to do that. The problem is, he already does so it's not going to work. At this point they'd be better off just giving him fair treatment. That way he'll be less likely to feel attacked by the republican party. And lets face it, fox news is a wing of the republican party.

Obama isn't a bad debater. And he'll have more money. What he'll do is put out provocative ads right before the debates bringing up all the issues where Paul doesn't poll well. They'll be good enough ads to where they get tons of press coverage, and the debate moderators will then be forced to address them in the debates, bringing up lots of topics where the majority disagree with Paul.

It'll be stuff like accusing Paul of appeasement of terrorists. (doesn't have to be true, just has to be believed) And Pauls response will be closing military bases when the people want to hear him say out hard he is on terrorism. It won't go over well.

If you're expecting Paul to crush Obama in a debate, lower your expectations. It won't happen like that. They'll be excellent debates, but they won't be one sided at all.

Obama's problem has never been lack of intelligence or oratory skills. Don't expect that to change.

What people will like about Paul is the comfort of knowing exactly what Paul really thinks and what he'll try to do in the whitehouse. No one has any clue what Romney or Newt would do if elected. Obama always keeps people guessing, he's clearly not the same guy who ran for office. That worries people about all three of them. People don't like uncertainty. People will forgive Paul to an extent for having positions they disagree with because his predictability gives them comfort. But they'll only forgive it to an extent. If Obama can paint him as a radical successfully, Obama will win in a landslide.

If Ron Paul is the next president then they can just pretend Ron Paul is a democrat ...win/win for them lol...2 bad they don't see that..(Fox)

And Dan I respectfully disagree that Obama will win in any sort of "landslide", especially against Ron Paul...

As a liberal I am not only very disappointed in Obama, much like many other liberals, When it comes to Obama I am angry and feel betrayed..at the least...as a libertarian I see him as frankly, an enemy of the people...hes on the goldman sachs bandwagon and hes for the police state.

Id vote for big bird over obama, I am not so sure that I am alone on that among other liberals...What seperates me from people that would vote for Obama fundamentally? I simply don't hate the republicans more than the democrats or vice versa..I hate them both equally..

Ron Paul is the only one that has a chance in hell at getting votes from these "Republican Haters" ...or any liberal really...Michelle bachman, Rick Perry, Newt....I feel ashamed when I see them..sick to my stomach...they are really hatefull ignorant people in my opinion...

Let me tell you guys a secret..just between me and the liberals reading this.......If you really hate republicans and want to destroy the pricks in that party...If you want to see them come around to civil liberties...then electing Ron Paul will do just that..

Today Dick Morris was OUTRAGED! He went on a 15 minute screaming RANT about Ron Paul saying that hes an anti-Semite...its only a matter of time before sean hannity and carl rove start flipping out...Do you want to see Carl Rove Flip out guys? Do you want to see the Rupert Murdoch yelling on the floor kicking and screaming like a little girl? Do you want to see Bill O Reily Cry? Elect Ron Paul

See, this is what I want to see. A man who knows his polictics inside and out against a man who requires a teleprompter to speak.

That really depends on a few things. Most importantly, what the economy looks like next year. If unemployment continues to drop, it won't matter who the republicans run, they'll still lose in a landslide.

Also you should remember how good Obama is at campaigning. He's likely the best campaigner any of us will ever see. Beating him will be extremely difficult unless the economy gets worse.

Yeah, if he can use the "Change" motto. That, he cannot do anymore.

I have a hard time believing the NDAA will just continue to fly under the radar. If Ron Paul is the nomination, that one issue alone should win him the election in a landslide. He won't just ignore it either.

The major issue about RP is his views on war and terrorism. I agree with RP in a way, We should't be in other countries business. Who are we to try to police the world. No wonder most countries hate us , We try to police their every action.

Iran , another issue. Every single candidate besides RP states , " we need a swift military response."

Iran couldn't hit us with any type of missile in 100 years. Do they want to bomb the shit out of israel? You bet your ass they do, Let Israel worry about that. Israel's military is very strong . The leader of Israel stated 2 weeks ago ,"We don't need u.S. military help, we can take care of ourselves." Going to war doesn't solve a thing, IT only puts us in more debt and creates more hate toward our country leading to more "terrorism like" attacks. IMO

You're very much underestimating Obama. As I said, his problem was never lack of intelligence. If you really think he's not capable with coming up with something new to run on, prepare to be disappointed. He is a very capable politician. Perhaps the most talented we've seen since JFK.

Like politicians come up with their own motto... that's just laughable. They come from the small guys on the bottom who's boss steals it and then their boss steals it and take credit while giving it to the politician.
