We see a lot of the Presidential Race here in Oz, now that the Race has narrowed to 3 Candidates and the Republicans confirming John Mcain and the Democrats torn between Obama and Clinton I am interested to see what the Astute voters on RIU will do come election time, no need for opinion just a vote in the poll will do.

After learning a little about our economics from RP I can't in good conscious vote for McCain (who doesn't know and doesn't care to know about economics or that they relate to security). Our overseas meddling will be the downfall of this nation. George Washington has the perfect quote relaying this and I can't remember it at the moment. If your planning to vote on "morals" look at how much we have lost to the "moral" regime we have now. Sorry I know you're not looking for posts.
-Undecided (but not McCain)

Keep it coming Lads and Ladies, my reason for asking was from what I can see by the Caucuses Obama should get the popular Vote, that is until the Super Delegates come into play, I was watching meet the press with Tim Russert the other day and the Clinton spokesperson was saying that although Obama has the majority of Caucus votes, he higlighted that it was Clinton who won the larger states Ohio etc and it would come down to the Super Delegates as to who they will pick to contest the election proper, I can see the sense in picking Clinton as she as it stands should garner more of the popular vote nation wide, but I also dont think Obama can be discounted as the real campaigning has not really started for the November election.

well it doesnt matter whom you vote for, it hasnt mattered since woodrow wilson (sp)

mccain = puppet
obama = popular puppet
clinton = puppet with evil background
ron paul = FREEDOM LOVING PATRIOT WHO WAS CHEATED IN ARIZONA AND TEXAS.

It doent matter who you pick, theyre all just running for the ceo job of a company, not the ownership. for the ownership look to the bankers who killed kenedy, and licoln.

sorry i know you didnt want anything other than a yes/no type response, but i cannot just keep quiet about this, its far to important to allow people to even begin to think that voting will change anything.

Wow, someone that actually brags about voting for Bush, amazing. Obama all the way. The super delegates are leaving hillary's camp at the rate of about 5-7 a week, At the end he'll have more supers than her, even if she wins Pennsylvania.

I voted for Bush. So did 60 million Americans. And I'd do it again if I could.
Really? I could go on a tyrade about Bush, all of it factual, but I'll just say, Amazing. I never thought I'd hear such,................ well I won't say it as I'm trying to be nice. Peace.

Yeah, I've got to admit it, when I hear such nonsense, I have to grit my teeth and take a giant deep breath and count to 100. Afterall, 60 million people couldn't have been wrong now, could they? How many voted for Hitler?

I am looking forward to the result of this election, It will be a Red Letter day should Obama win, and he upholds his end of the Bargain (All these supposed Changes), how it will impact on not only US domestic policy but also foreign policy

It could actually be a good day for America and the world, albeit a bad day for corporations. Hence his probable demise.

Nah I really do believe that after the debacle that was the 2000 election, and the rise in independent journalism and access to information, I don't think the books can be fudged this time around. It goes around in cycles i think, a certain Regime (Administration if you like to be politically correct) will alter the balance for a while then its time for a correction, a bit like the Stock market I guess, we have had the same thing here, 11 years of one Party dominating our federal politics, life was good for a lot of people mainly business. Now we have a so called conservative government who want to chop the hell out of public spending to reign in inflation.

I just laugh to see how malleable most Americans are now by the media. And your incorrect, Med, its not factual, most of the shit I've seen you blabber on is typical media spin and rhetoric that you seem to eat up.

And to whoever boooky is, is that supposed to be an insult? Something about barney..I don't know, sounds like you are a child.

"Now we have a so called conservative government who want to chop the hell out of public spending to reign in inflation."

Would you rather it be wasted on pointless social programs or maybe just give it massively to welfare. At least I'd rather have my tax cuts then the money diffuse in inefficient bureaucracy.
