Sweet build. That bubbleponics thing works pretty well, eh?

I did a little research on the bubbleponics thing. I saw a website called SH (Stealth Hydro)? That thing appears to be a smaller version of mine except instead of that little drippy thingamajig, I have sprayers. A length of pvc pipe cut and screwed into a pump with cloner spray heads at 60 cents a pop will result in faster growing, stronger plants. Also, with the jets wetting your suspended net pot instead of dripping directly on your rockwool core, you won't have those droopy problems early when the plant is still tiny.

Thanx for swingin by Jin. We started all 4 of them in the SH Bubbleponics unit, BUT they will get crowded with the quickness. Pretty much after the roots make contact with the water in the rez there's not much need for it nymore and most just take it out cuz it just congests the inside of the tote they send with it. We'll prolly still end up using it, but with the kind of space we have it'll have to be scrogged if we keep them in the same tote. We figured once we bought it that we'd see the simplicity of it and just decide to make our own lulz. Oh wellz I guess. It came with a bunch of extra stuff that we still use every now and then. I would think the sprayers would be pretty much the same thing

hey there every body and minralz , mineralz every body on this forem is really cool . but what i want to say is the bottom leaves that do not get light under the scrog net should be removed for air and they are sucking energy because there not getting light so they are trying extra extra hard to produce a pop corn bud . i said that like 4 weeks ago but i dont think you thought twice about it ,you really want all focus on those big colas you got that are way above your net and thats not a scrog any more its a tent full of buds . you will be getting the kind weed but use your scrog to its advantage next time and you will save time and get a even layer of bud like a 4" flat lasagne , horizontal stem on the underbelly of your net and hundreds of bud sites growing virtical . a truley beautiful site . take care as well and enjoy your product

Haiz Mullup. Let me start by saying I couldnt agree with you more about the "attempted fast scrog". I personally couldnt see them everyday because of work and whatnot. We put them under the screen on kind of a whim. Granted the canopies arent even for all 3 ladiez, but I honestly believe that if they didnt have even that LITTLE bit of resistance on the way up, they would have taken over and been too tall. We dont pretend to know-it-all and growing in real life compared to seeing it justified in pics is a totally different ballgame. The weaving/training process didnt go nearly as smoothly as we would have liked. We did trim a bunch of stuff off from underneath all 3 of the big ones before we transferred them into the chamber, but paranoia got the best of us when it came to removing lush, green growth from our 1st crop. Thanks for the criticism Next round will look tons better I'm sure. Doin some minor construction when we swap out the lights today. Just for shitz and gigglez tho....I have been secretly removing smaller limbs lulz. Thanx for swingin by and happy growing!

Putting the 600-watter in the flowering chamber today. Moving the 400-watter back into the tent so we can start our next batch in Veg. Also, started making my screen for the tent as well Redemption shall be mine lulz. No mas vertical limbs HA. Gonna be so much easier when we DONT have to move them once they've started growing. More time to train!! More pics in a couple of days and thanx to everyone for your input! Good or bad its all about the learning process and thanx for pointing out our flaws so we can correct them next time and start working on the "scientific" aspect of cultivation Now I'm gonna get off here and try out some stuff called Armageddon my buddy has. That's just what I did too. I saw some other growers here with Diy's on how to build simple spray cloners and thought, "Gosh, is that all it is? I can make that for cheap." So I did. I just expanded on the base bubbleponics concept by using a jumbo tub and pvc spray plumbing instead of the drip feeder. Unlike the drip feeder, the sprayers never become superflouous and remain a vital component of the plants' advancement throughout the grow... And again, it doesn't water-log small cuttings or seedlings.

You have the basic bubbleponic dwc concept well in hand since you have hands-on experience with it. At this point I would def encourage you to expand and customize on it. Switch to a larger tub and simple PVC pipe spray system (much more active and robust method of feeding than drip). You can thank me later.

Thanx for the comments all Got the 600-watter put in today and I gotta say it turned out alot better than I thought it would. The reflector on the 600w was actually 2-3" shorter than the big bulky one on the 400w. The weight of the 600w is only 1/2 that of the 400w as well. Granted it's split up, but total weight its still alot lighter..bout 20lbs lighter. Kyla has experienced some minor heat burn and we had to actually drop her bucket by about 3" a week back or so. With this light...it actually sits higher up and gave us another 3" above the canopy. We should be good to go now I dont really care if we lose some fan leaves to burn....but the buds is where I draw the line. As long as that doesnt happen we should be good to go. Looked into a 400cfm exhaust fan today as well. Pretty sure thats the last thing we're gonna need besides nutez for awhile. We decided to germ our next batch of beans next week. We're experiencing some issues with the mail lately so we're having to improvise on the actual strains we're wanting to grow. Its lookin like 2 Royal Hash/2 Mysteries are gonna germ first so we can move them into the flower chamber under the 600w before they get crazy tall. When we get them moved then we're gonna germ 2 Wonder Woman/2 Bubblelicious and they'll spend their whole life in the tent under the 400w. Both are gonna be scrogs from the get-go..no dickin around this time lulz. But yea....thats bout it for the update. I'll get some new pics in teh next couple of days. yo minz, looking sick maaaannn! stickin up the joint with all that buddege... you should really see those buds get thick and dense with the 600 in the fight. I think I'm going to get a LED for the next light addition. Been reading the reviews on the newer systems with 1, 3, 4 and even 6 watt leds. I just can't add more heat, already too hot now but making it squeak by.

I got to looking at your pics and I'm growing a free seed I got on my seed order, it's Chronic Fruit Juice or something like that, anyway its leaves are long and thin when the coarse serrations. They look a lot like your plants actually, very, very similar leave blade design. Mine is still small but I accidentally broke a 5 finger leaf off it the other day and smelled it and it was very lemony smelling, I was like WTF????? I wasn't expecting that strong of a citrus smell but there it was. Can't wait to see what the buds end up smelling/tasting like. Hope you got a good drying/curing plan, looks like a decent yield coming your way. keep the faith my brother, the payday isn't too far off for either of us. I'll be home tomorrow evening and can't wait to see my girls, haven't seen them since Monday morning.

Supz Ray! So glad to see you dropped by. Thanx for the kind words man really. I definately know what you mean about the leaf smell. We've been trimming a few of the bigger fan leaves towards the bottoms of the bud sites, BUT they were blocking frosty stuff underneath so it was for the greater good We are absolutely lovin it thusfar man. We've been very fortunate or we may really have a touch of greenthumb ya never know lulz. I'm bouts to post some new pics and stuff. I'll keep checkin in on ya for surez Happy growing mane

Basically....bud swelling is in full force as you can prolly see. They look so much more dense now than they were a couple days ago. The smells are overwhelmingly strong with each lady. Trichomes are poppin up everywhere still as you can prolly see. Took a shot of the 600w. Raised the end plant up 6" to even the canopy a little more and I gotta say it looks pretty decent. Temps did go up to 84F with the bigger light. Humidity dropped to 56% tho We blocked off the end piece of our exhaust adapter so the end sucking the air out is actually DIRECTLY beneath the light. I figure the only thing we're missing is a bigger exhaust fan and that should be gravy. Overall it seems to be holding well. That bitch definately brightens things up significantly.

Yea man I'm so fn stoked. I get to finish makin my screen and start gettin our next batch ready this weekend. I just did a fuckload of research on training screens so I'm ready to redeem myself from my "failed" scrog attempt lulz. So we're gonna over-achieve it and just do 2 of em next round I figure if Kyla's that decent of a yielder this grow and we still have 4 seeds of her..it'll be way better next round with the things we've learned so far. Still, our first crack at growing should turn out decent. I'd be thrilled to death with even 4oz from these babiez. We shall see Xciting times....these....last weeks of ripening

So we started crackin our next set of beans lastnight. Dropped 2 Royal Hash and 2 Mysteriez. I have to clean out the tent and hang the light and whatnot to get it ready to go later today then it should be good. Hopefully by Monday they'll be in rockwool and on their way through Veg. Tempz in the flowering chamber went up to 85-90F. It was 90F + outside all week and its supposed to be 95F+ next week. The plants dont look like they're being damaged and water temps and everything else is great. Humidity dropped to 56%, which is the lowest we've seen it the whole grow. Have some crispy tips, but still most of em are on Kyla from the 400w being a little too close. We'll see what happens On a better note...the buds got even bigger

Lovely. I don't know what strain that is, but those tightly packed multi-cola areas that look like a nested bouquet... I've seen that before in a Master Kush cross.

I'm not as concerned about your 84F as I am about your 56% rel hum. As the buds increase in density, so will the moisture in your air. And 56% is already dancing with the risk of mold.

Things are movin right along. Our heat problems seem to have disappated and the leaves are showing signs of recovery Took the first ever night pics as well for you all. They look entirely different with the lights off I had no idea lulz. Well nywayz, it was dark as hell and I couldnt see shiz so I hope they turn out okay. Bud swelling is still in full-force and I swear they get bigger every time I see them. Orange hairs are everywhere mixed in with the flowers. Trichomes are still really white on all 3. I'm thinking 9 weeks on average for the 3 of em. Kyla's trichomes aren't as heavy as the others, BUT her colas are fuckin huge and the skunk smell inside that chamber will straight knock you out lmao! We pretty much failed at training these monsters to the screen. We lacked the know-how to do a really decent job, but the crop seems to be worthy of our 1st ever. The 4 seeds we started germinating are almost cracked. We also plan on dropping at least 2 Bubblelicious and 2 Wonder Woman soon. We may wait a couple of weeks so that way harvest will be close to done and we can just switch em out and go. If we figured it right...the ones we have cracking now should be around 2-3 weeks into Veg by the time these babiez get done flowering. Not sure about an exact date for ny of them as to the different strains, but we're gonna do our best to chop em at their optimum "ripeness". I'll be sure to keep the pics closer together after this week. I would love some opinions from my fellow growers right about now! We got some glass jars and whatnot for the curing of this grow, but opinions on WHEN to chop em would be great. I'm sure the colors will let us know when it's getting close, but we've neva done this before so

Hey MIN shits looking real nice in there man really putting on the wieght good job.
The best advice I could possibly give u rite now is simply hit up radio shack if u don't have a local dro store for a small 100x microscope I paid less than twenty bux for mine.
Everyone has there own prefference on the high they are looking for.
A lot of peeps will just blurt out wait till ur trichs are amber.
Fact of the matter is some strains taste better when u chop them rite when the trichs start turning amber as well as if its good weed u may not even notice a difference in high from a little amber to total amber.
I start takeing tester when they are all milky and go from there.
The berry strains berry tastes usually start real fresh when they are all milky almost turning amber.
Just play with it bro u.
Milky trichs get u a real nice head high.
Milky just turning amber hits the body but u can still function.
A quarter amber I ain't doing shit except watching tv and chilling in the house.
