Mystery Bud Bubbleponics Grow

Oh yea...since I'm on the subject of cloning...AFTER i've taken the cuttings should they be under some lower-lumen CFLz or can I just throw them in my tent under the 400-watter and they be okay? I know seedlings dont need that much light, but clones arent technically seedlings of course :S Just wanted to make sure I wont kill em off with too much light? Holla

In the tent with the 400 is cool. Just don't set them directly under it. U can also clone in 12/12 as well if u don't have a veg pad set up

i would think you would want to set the light as far as possable from the cuttings if you were to use a 400watt. with that much light the plant will still be trying to grow leaves n photosenthises n not dedicate the needed energy to growing roots therefore not really acomplishing either. personally i prefer to clone under low light conditions to promote healthy root production before veg. i also have concerns re cloning under 12/12. ive done it but the clones continue to flower, my understanding is the plants need 18-20 hours light during colning to promote root growth n not use thers reserve energies to flower. as always there are many different ways of doing with varied results depending on what you are trying to accomplish. these are just my oppinions n i have nothing to back it up with n dont intend no disrespect. jmo

Basically the 3 unknown females are swelling up with the fierceness On the other hand Kyla kinda has me worried. I took some closer pics of her colas and she's the last pic. They're leafy and not really filling out like the other 3. Opinions??

Great post sir. Yea when I use my 400 to clone I usually set mine down on the floor. Indirect or shaded light
Good catch. I've also gotten just as good as results cloneing in 12/12. I clone in 18/6 lighting tho with 2X26 watt 65k cfls tho was more or less just saying give her a shot they pretty much will clone themselves in the cup as long as thiers indirect lamp tho. Just do it up minz get some cuts for sure u never know u could end up loseing a real banger and that would suck.

Okay so pretty much....ppmz arent dropping as rapidly. Some slight nute burn in other areas of the grow so I'm assuming they're gonna be slowing down soon. Swelling is still goin pretty good tho. The smells are getting more intense as well as the coloring of the actual buds. Exciting week coming up

Okay so we used up the last mix of flowering nutez we had today. Tomorrow will be their first day of straight PH'd water...we'll see what happens I guess. I checked on them earlier today and the trichomes on the 2 mystery females were starting to get really white(milky) so I suspect they'll be first. Kyla is a little trickier. Tbh I think she may have gotten too hot or something. Granted I have no idea what she'll look like 5-7 days from now, but from the looks of it we have our trimwork in store for us come harvest. I just figured they'd be more dense compared to fluffy? Idk I checked allll over her for any signs of seeds because I have no idea what a hermaphrodite looks like let alone a hermaph at 8 weeks of flower would look like I didnt find anything that reseambles a seed..nyone ever grown stuff thats leafy/fluffy like this before? Maybe its nothing, maybe it is. So now we wait..ugh..so close it seems...

If its just barely turning milky and the nuggz are fluffy just means they are still developeing bud. Remember u can't really start counting down finish time until the plants have shown sex. So from the time they showed sex till now is truley how many days they have been flowering not the date u flipped ur lights to 12/12 see what I'm sayin? They should pack on more wieght and the budz should get more dense once they get closer to being actually done. On the other hand some strains produce fluffy bud so u can't really depend on that. Its all about the trichs. How u prefer to smoke ur bud and what kinda high ur trying to achieve. I can say it usually takes a good 2 weeks from the time u have a really nice milky white triched out plant for them to be close to half amber but even then it can take longer and sometimes it only takes a few days for a plant to go completely amber from being just milky white. Its all about genetics at that point. U should be cool to just run them on water from here or when u run outta nutez. All they are going to do is draw the stored up nutez from there fan leafs to replenish the lack of food. And that sir is where u get all the crazy colors in flower. Lol hope that helped man. U should be good to go tho

Thanx alot for the speedy replies DL! I get alot of info from your posts and that seems to be ur style for the most part Overall we're extremely pleased to even be looking at a harvest. Some peepz have the hardest time getting their 1st grow done. Learned so much over the past few months its crazy..definately addictive as shiz! I guess we'll just have to see what happens over the next week. Either way it should still be some of the best smoke I've ever had

Rite on man that's REAL TALK! It is hard enuff all on its own just to get a harvest in man. Can't tell u how many times I fired up and could not finish for whatever reasons fact of the matter it takes a lot to throw a grow down so I got nothing but respects and happy grow thoughts for anyone getting thru a grow and being able to experience smokeing their own meds or nuggz or whatever. Its a great thing man but there are many factors that come into play that are always constantly growing against us! LOL anytime minz just glad I've been able to help. And ur right I've grown seeded bud in my grows that just happened to be the strongest bud I've ever smoked. So yea man its gonna blow ur mine when u toke a bowl of those nuggz u got rite there I can see its gonna be some DANK AND like u said its prolly better rite now than most the dank floating around. Alrite man now I'm just rambling on haha. Happy growing dude ur almost there!

Thanks man I'm for sure looking forward to taking pics of them over the next week or so! I get to try my hand at "Hardcore Bud Pornz" lulz

So I checked on the girlz today and even brought the cam along...but then I realized that the cam had no batteries <--I love this smilie...so fn appropriate lulz

Kyla's lower canopy leaves have definately started to yellow. Smaller stuff bout 1/4 of the way up her main stalk mostly. Her bud's leaves are starting to shrink it seems almost? Trichomes are HEAVY on the inside, but definately not as much on the outside and I'm thinking that's our fault. The 600w was too close for a little too long I'm thinkin. Her colas are really fluffy though and jezuz the wait is killin me lulz.







The other 2 mystery females are starting to show signs of yellowing on the far outer edges of the leaves closest to the bud sites. The shorter one is the one with the really orange hairs all over her. Nice frosting and extremely skunky smell! We noticed her smell 1st out of all the girlz and its still the strongest but not by much.




The 2nd mystery female is the taller one with the MASSIVE stretch. Damn she's tall. We've been having to LST some buds on all 3 because they're starting to fall over lulz. This girl is prolly my favorite. Nice dense bud structure. VERY sticky and stinky. Her upper colas are massive and solid as phuck. You even rub her and you get frosting all over yur wrist, arm, fingers dont matter lulz.




RANDOM STUFF AND THE TO-DO LIST

So basically we've been goin over things we wanna change around/make better for future stuffz. Ventilation in the chamber will be upgraded before next flowering cycle. LST and SCROG all the way even if it kills us lulz. Prolly gonna be doing some cloning in a few weeks and I'm gonna try the cup method me thinx. I may make the Stealth Hydro unit a cloning machine and turn the mini-bubblers into Mother-pots(if we ever need em that iz). I havent done a full grow using JUST the tent yet so that'll be new and exciting. I guess its a good thing it unzips all the way around that bitch or I might not be able to get to them as much as I would like to I DEFINATELY wanna make a new setup for the tent as well. Pretty much settled on RDWC with airstones. Main rez will be an external cooler with the water pump/feed lines/whatnot. Inside the tent I wanna go with 4 5gallon buckets with the screen 8-10" above them. Hopefully the cooler will keep everything nice and chilled. It will be nice to having to worry about frozen water bottles touching root All I need to do is decide on a decent water pump and everything else should be easy to come by. I'm surrounded by hardware stores so the plumbing shouldnt be a biggie. Exciting times....these rambles of mine lulz. Pretty much it I think. I WILL HAVE NEW PICS TOMORROW and a new pair of damn batteries! As alwayz..happy growing!

Girls gonna love u for that only way I get my brownie points anymore that n my girl jus happens to be a worse pot fiend than me haha so she deals with the rest hahaha.

First of all...I woke up not too long ago and this made me lulz. Its hot as phuck outside today. 90s easily. Bouts to go purchase some fireworks with the wife and boy Awwww yea. The girlz have been on straight PH'd water for roughly 2 days now. Bishes are looking whiter/milkier everyday! Tomorrow is the end of Week 8 by our count. I've been thinkin about the whole counting from sex thing and if nything the 3 BIG ones only took a week and some change to show sex, so if anything July 11th would be 8-9 weeks and that's pretty much when we decided everything would be close to done. We're gonna let Kyla roll as long as we can to see if her fluffiness subsides or gets bigger. No idea what she'll look like dry, but I'm guessin it'll be a combo of some frosty, semi-leafy, fluffiness Granted trimming will play a part in her especially, BUT as long as the leaves are nice and frosty and not overly HUGE then we'll prolly just leave them alone. Clip off the yellowing ends of her leaves and leave the rest Either way shit's gonna be fire man and we cant fucking wait! Gonna have some doobiez and some music rolling while we're trimming...excited! I'm really expecting the 2 mystery females to show mad color compared to Kyla. Helloz all. CHecked on the girlz yesterday. Leaves near bud are starting to yellow a little more intensely. Colors are getting pretty on the 3 mystery girlz and I'm almost convinced Kyla's a hermie. Show no signs of changing hardly at all...hmm. Oh wellz I guess...win some you lose some More pics up tonight. Prolly just close-ups and I really wanna get some night shots soon of all 4.
