THANKS FOR THIS! I will try it, I came home to it being 96 in there a couple weeks a before the permafrost was harvested. I think Lacy is a more hardy strain. Because I've been keeping an eye on her and no nanners at all. I will continue to keep a close eye on it though! And just chopped another Lacy last night. Pix comin soon.

And yea man. I just chopped another down last night. So I'll take a pix of the root structure for you. It's crazy because it pretty much just looks like dirt. No root sprialing or anything like that. I think it helped me to keep healthier plants, as well as the plant having a faster nutrient uptake due to the constant drying out of the dirt. It's at the point to where I have to water once every 2 and 1/2 days or the girls droop severely due to under watering. I seirously can't even go a FULL 3 days without giving them any water! And I've just been keeping up with the regualr schedual. Water/feed/water/feed ect.

So I'll be tryin to get those pix up within a day or so.

lookin forward to the pics, when i start growin again i might look in to some sort of air pot either store bot ore mabye a DYI type pot. thanks for takinthe pics.

Alright MC the first 8 pix are of the 'net pot' thing I use as pots for my plants. And then a few shots of the rootball, as you can see there is zero root spiraling. I feel that it allowes me to have a larger plant, as apposed to if I was using a pot without the air root pruning. Then I would be pretty badly root bound. And then a couple buds harvested from said plant.

And for everybody else the last 2 pix will be of my 'Extreme LST' girl. lol, I dunno how else to describe her besides that. She's just got all kinds of twists and turns in her stem! lol

That extreme LST plant looks like its gonna burst with nuggets when she starts to flower.

thanks for the pics hook, i think i am going to be doin some airpots once i start growing again, ill do half in airpots and the other half regualr pots, just as a lil comparison in growth and to see if i like the air pots better

Hell yea man, keep me informed of when you do so. I'll definitely want to be tagging along!

On a side note, The plant with the 2 really large nugs on it. I harvested and hung to dry in the dry box last thursday. It was dry last night so I manicured it and it is now trimming. I also weighed it, I only harvested 34.6 G's off this plant. But I am confident in the fact that it is because I purposly trained this plant to grow the 2 HUGE nugs, instead of a larger amount of smaller nugs. Before I even put this plant into flower I was pretty sure my yield was going to be a little less due to the fact that I didn't veg as long and the plant didn't get nearly as much training as my plants usually do. I'm not complaining though! I'm happy with these big nugs! They're pretty! :) lol

So here's some pix of the harvest from that girl. And the next 2 that I'm harvesting are going to be BIG yielders I have a feeling! I'm guessing I'll get about 40g's off the next plant that I harvest, which is my average. But the plant after that, the one in my trash can flower room... I think that plant is going to yield me upwards of 55g's... We shal see...

I just snapped this walking out the door on my way to work. I'll get some better one's soon.

buds look great, and i would be very happy pullin these results with cfls. pretty soon if u fin a high yeilding strain, i think u could get 2-3 ozs off one plant if every thing goes right, man i wishi cold grow so bad im just phenin to grow some plants

just dropping in to toss up some pix of my FAV plant to date.

It's a lacy strain, in an air-root-pruning pot and I believe this is the reason I am able to have this big of a plant in such a small pot. I really think these help keep a plant from becoming rootbound. Because my Strawberry Cough WAS my biggest plant, untill now. AND it was in a larger pot than this one is now. This one however is showing no sighs of being rootbound like I think the SC was.

Anyways I think she's gonna be a big producer. She's still under total CFL lighting. She's the one girl I have in the trash can flower room. Getting 208 watts all to itself in a VERY small area. As apposed to my other flower room where 2 plants are getting 312 watts. And I think that is the reason she's looking so good! I REALLY like this trashcan flower room! Almost thinking about just getting 3 of these things up and running and just tearing down my large flower room. Just some thoughts, nothing's happening as of right now tho.

Ok so I'm fuckin baked bongsmilie as you can see from my rambeling! :) SO here's the pix! A group shot during a watering. Then the BIG lacy girl. More of the rest of the girls coming later this weekend.

plants are lookin good, i was just at dollr store and seen them same exact pots, im gonna get some cuz theri so cheap, instead of spending like 20 ona real air pot. and i think the 3 trash can idea would be coll but that would need alot more lights to fill all three cans

Hell yea man that's bad ass! That's what I'm talkin about! It's the reason I wanted to try these pots, because they looked like they would work and they were way cheap! lol, When I was at the local nursery buying mine, the lady asked me what it was for. And I was telling her I'm just getting it for my dad for his garden. And she starts telling me that these are ment for water, for lake plants to go in, and if you try to grow a soil plant in there that it won't survive..... HAHAHA, didn't believe her when she said it, bought them anyways, and am EXTREMELY glad I did!

Good call man! I didn't think of that aspect of things. Though if I did tear the big flower room down, I could just use those lights and the equiptment that's in there. I would have some things to buy though. And trash can's to get, and then paint them which was a fucking pain in my ass BTW. Try to spray paint the INSIDE of a trashcan sometime, you'll know what I'm talkin about! Fuckin sucks ass! lol, It would be alot of work. I'll probably just leave things as is. Nothing is wrong, so why change it..... For now that is... lol

BTW I dig your new avitar pic MC! That shit's dope!

ya it looks really cool enlarged, and ya i bet sprayin the insides is a tuff task, if your a huffer though it will get you high real quick while in the can. and ya the baskets look more of a hydro thing but it seems that they work great for you and prune the roots well, so im gonna give em a go when i grow again

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... Well boys and girls... Some exciting news here. HookdOnChronics just went HPS! Yup! That's right! I bought me a 175W HPS for $40 bucks over the weekend. I'm going to completely re-design my grow room, to have the HPS atop the plants, and then manipulate my 12 CFL's to be basically surrounding the sides. It's gonna be dope as shit, and I'll take some pix when I'm done...

I woulda done it over this weekend, but I brok up with my girl and shit's kinda been hard. So I'll get to it as somepoint...

sounds liek great news besides the break up, at least you werent together for years, me and my girl are just about to split after 3 years but we are tryinto work it out. cant wait to see the new setup. the plants will like it alot to

Alright guys here's a few pix of the new setup.

~In the middle is the 175w HPS.
~On each side of the HPS, there is a 156w CFL setup (Old flower room CFL's) with 5, 2700k, 26w CFL's. and 1, 6500K, 26w CFL (on each side) So 10, 2700k, 26w CFL's, and 2, 6500K, 26w CFL's (total)

So in total, I am runing 478 watts. Basically, this is the same as my old flower room setup, WITH an aditional 175w HPS.

I'm freaking stoked guys! After only about 24 hours of being under the HPS, I could see a ridiculous amount of new hairs that shot out! It's freaking amazing! I want MORE HPS light now! :)

P.S. I know the super strechy plant in the front looks bad. That's the Pineapple Express, and my buddie who I got the clone from said that these plants just stretch horribly! He thinks it may just be a bad pheno trait. I'm not going to lie, that plant isn't too pretty! lol, oh well tho. It's a plant still! lol

EDIT: Oh and I made that PVC light holder for the HPS by myself, just bought some shit form home depot and figured out how to make it work. It's fit's perfectly, works really great and was way way cheap! So I'm really happy about all of this! :)

looks fuckin great, im sure your harvest weight is gonna go up by quite a bit. and i like your home made light holder. and as for the PE being strectchy i woudnt worry to much, stretched plants can still produce dank buds.
