The flesh is very firm,they are traditionally called "crabeater" so the flavor is similar but it's a meat fish.Like a chicken cutlet in consistency. It actually lends well to some grill char or here it's broil.It deepens the flavor.

I went back to 8 ft of line with a hook tied to a stick, had much better luck than boats, reels, tackle boxes, etc.
