Weeeeeeeee Feeling hispanic today. Went to wholesale store again and it feels like cheating. Paid for this bottle what I normally pay for a glass.

I'm curious as to what you did pay for the bottle....likely in Spain it would be around 3 euros.

I lived in Spain for about a year, the red wine was cheap.....once bought a bottle for 79 euro cents, it wasn't great but was okay.....lots of decent wines for 2 or 3 euros, but that was 20 years ago

Yeah time's changed. Spanish wine in Spain is still a lot cheaper than what I pay for it in NL but I can't buy wine for 2-3 euros, that barely covers the taxes. Anything drinkable is over 5, starts getting good at 8 and at 12 and up it becomes more exclusive. I paid 6.50 for the bottle (on sale at main wholesale chain here targeting bars and restaurants), which is what they charge for the non-cheapest at a bar/restaurant per glass. It's 11-17 for the bottle at a liquor store. It's a night and day difference with the otherwise large collections of wines at (consumer) supermarkets. In Belgium this bottle is 18 euros. In Ireland 140 euros for 6 bottles:

I'm sure you can still buy wine for 2-3 euros in Spain, definitely not this one. It's 14 bucks on Spanish amazon.

I paid $26+ today for onion rings and a cheese steak. It was OK but I definitely felt ripped off.

By far the best steak cheese I have ever had (4 times now) was at Jersey Mike's sub shop chain.

the big kahuna chicken steak is pretty good but try to find a place that "tries" to make a real Philly cheesesteak. we have a small local chain called Taste of Philly that actually fly in the hoagie rolls from philly .

I'm not a fanboy of any "chain".

With that said, I do enjoy Jersey Mikes. One of the few chains I have not bitched out the establishment for poor service.
Good food is not worth the price if the service sucks.
