Give me a list of the sources you would agree to taking seriouslySpencer Fernando sounds like your version of our Tucker Carlson. That’s why I specified credible.
post some credible evidence of it, not some right-wing alt-fact.Would it matter what I linked? Your view is yours and that's fine,no need to argue. Do you agree with internet censorship then?
not my job.Give me a list of the sources you would agree to taking seriously
What was wrong with the two links that I posted? Nature and SagePub are alt-right now?post some credible evidence of it, not some right-wing alt-fact.
Credible sites are in the top two factuality tiers of this site.

I suspect that doing the economic forensics will be something for years from now, once the situation has stopped evolving and the data are available to academics and actuaries.Well, not too interested in rehashing old topics/conversations, but I would view anything written in that tone/style as suspect and propaganda, regardless of content. The language used is to push an idea/narrative, it's heavy on emotional appeals.
I thought the current topic was small business failure due to covid policies. My view was that its pretty normal for that amount of small businesses to fail and the narrative that it was due to covid restrictions was sus and probably pushing an agenda. I would then view all information coming through that channel with more scrutiny.
The link given by that "canadian" right winger was from a lobbyist. Influencing is what they do. I wouldn't trust anything coming from a lobbyist, left, right or center. It was laughable and ludicrous that he posted that just after he cited something attributed to Einstein that did not say and just before that antivaxx BS.I suspect that doing the economic forensics will be something for years from now, once the situation has stopped evolving and the data are available to academics and actuaries.
Heck, the epidemiology of the pandemic is still evolving in a lively manner, rendering a medical assessment unavailable until all the numbers are in and processed by pros. For now, the adaptation of the pathogen is outpacing our collective ability to make and distribute an effective vaccine. mRNA is a game changer but not the game ender some of us hoped it would be.
It was a twofer: misattributed and misquoted. The link given by that "canadian" right winger was from a lobbyist. Influencing is what they do. People like that make others less informed.
It would be funny except people died from following misinformation that came from sources like that.
let’s just say it has to prove itself uphill. That might annoy you, but it is what it is. The right has simply wallowed in ideological diarrhea since even before Covid, and it has torched its benefit of the doubt with an ethnic space laser.information hygiene?
so anything from “the right” must be dismissed as worthless? Boy that’s a sad reality to live in but I guess tribalism is very real and a human constant
Any interest in listening to Bret Weinstein’s take then forming your own opinion? He’s an evolutionary biologist but may be too right wing for your tastes since he went on Joe Rogan and all…..episode #1919
I usually enjoy listening to Bret Weinstein as he is certainly a very intelligent person and talks on a pretty even keel. There was one thing that really jumped out at me during that podcast, when Bret spoke about the lab leak theory and he was not aware of the level four lab studying corona viruses in Wuhan until one of his listeners pointed it out to him. For him to speak as an expert that has studied corona viruses, and not be aware about that lab, after the pandemic started - in Wuhan, makes me suspect either: his expertise, or, he is becoming biased. I also believe everyone needs to pay attention to how a lot of podcasts really dig at big pharma controlling the narrative with traditional MSM through advertising dollars, big pharma owning politicians; but the advertisers to a lot of these podcasts are from supplement companies, and some of these supplement companies are owned by podcasters.information hygiene?

All-cause mortality was actually the main sticking point I had, which clearly undermines your repetitive and asinine assertions that "lives were saved, end of discussion". Also, in regard to global supply chains, especially related to food, fuel and medical supplies, the financial aspect means yet more lives lost. So keep your "you only care about money" BS to yourself. Just because I don't care about your life over mine or even over my freedom, doesn't mean I don't care at all.Bullshit! It was proved many times that lives were saved, only if helping to keep hospitals from collapsing. Do you even read any of the articles posted or just ignore what doesn’t fit your obsessed narrative? There were plenty of cost analysis re the “restrictions” and yes it was costly. World wide calamities are costly. So now you’ve moved to was it financially worth it FFS. The goalpost movement is strong lol. What’s next?
You are confusing preponderance of evidence that leads to a reasonable conclusion with certainty. If you want certainty, go to church.All-cause mortality was actually the main sticking point I had, which clearly undermines your repetitive and asinine assertions that "lives were saved, end of discussion". Furthermore, that I don't prioritize the way you want me to, is but a minor premise. The main point here is that no, indeed, you cannot prove that lives were saved when you look at it over the entire timespan of the pandemic and include all-cause mortality.
I'm confusing nothing. A preponderance of evidence leads to my conclusion. Even the article in nature (budley linked) alludes to that but stops short of admitting it while swearing up and down that lockdowns reduced transmission of covid. You are confusing preponderance of evidence that leads to a reasonable conclusion with certainty. If you want certainty, go to church.
And by extension, anyone who preferred Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton is now not only every other sort of deplorable, clearly anti-vax, uneducated, and racist...I'm no Trumper but stop the bullshit. I admit you're right you don't know much about Canadian politics or Ivermectin for that matter. The Ivermectin humans take is not the same as animals but you call it horsepaste like that's it's only form and what would be recommended for humans and confirm your ignorance. Do you think the millions of people traveling who take Ivermectin for malaria are swallowing horse paste? Your politics are clouding your reasoning.
Invermectin is not for covid, neither the human or horse one. Inhaling Lysol or shining a light will also not help with covid, regardless of what Trump said. Don't like lockdowns, easiest thing you can do to hopefully prevent it from happening again is wear a mask. Want to protect yourself, wear a mask and get vaccinated.I'm no Trumper but stop the bullshit. I admit you're right you don't know much about Canadian politics or Ivermectin for that matter.
