Vaccinated stay contagious longer than Unvaccinated

Well hopefully one day there will be a vaccine to prevent deaths from heart disease and/or cancer. But until then, maybe think about helping people with heart disease and cancer by trying to prevent hospital capacity issues due to covid.
Most heart disease is from consumption choices, and most cancer is from environmental and exposure impacts. What you are describing wouldn't be a vaccine, it would be genome editing by way of injection, but that doesn't make it a vaccine.

I was at both local hospitals this last week and both have eliminated pre-screening before entering. Both still require masking which they provide upon entering. EM department wait times are on average 10-20 hours but only one provides 24 hour care. My situation seemed to move faster than normal with testing done a couple of days after initial diagnosis.

My buddy who's a touring sound engineer for live bands didn't want to get the vax, but he was required to for the tour he was on, as they had two Canada dates. He reluctantly got the vax, and had a terrible reaction. The two Canada dates ended up getting cancelled. His brother also had a bad reaction which triggered shingles for him.
Wouldn’t have happened if the brother had the shingles vaccine.

And you didn't pick up that I was simply implying that there is a very simple and safe way to prevent covid from causing unnecessary hospitalizations that are taking up resources, causing delayed treatment for other illnesses that are not as easily prevented.

The peak is over. It's all hype. No hospitals are full of Covid patients anymore. As far as preventing heart disease and cancer... put down that Big Mac and eat a salad and come skinless grilled chicken..it's all preventable, we just need to quit eating garbage.
I hope the peak is over, we all should. It's not all hype, there is no worldwide conspiracy about it. The hospitals may not be full of Covid patients right now, but it's not moving in the right direction and vaccine skepticism is part of the issue. I agree a healthy diet and daily exercise are very important and should be promoted way more than it is - but doesn't change the fact that vaccines prevent unnecessary hospitalizations.

Yes, it's true there is a very simple and safe way to prevent covid, and it's what Fauci said the was doing for himself early on in the pandemic, way before a covid-jab was available. It's simple and effective vitamin D. Why didn't they send vitamin supplements out to all Americans, if prevention was really the key?

What gets me is all these so called stoners that are pushing for more government control. WTF? I don't get it.

I noticed on the tv advertisements for the boosters, they carefully tip toe around thier words unlike other pharmaceutical ads. They also don’t disclose any side affects because of thier wording. Which by law, if you push a drug, you have to disclose side affects.

It's confusing to me too, but I think it's a classic case having control and wanting to keep it. When the shoe is on the other foot, the sentiment changes as quick as the direction of the wind.

You mean like these kind of side effects?..
