I have been watering my plant with PH of around 6.5. I am running coco coir. I recently tested the run off water and it was a little above 5. Is this drastic variation acceptable with coco? If not, what should I do about it? Increase the PH of the source water to about 7? I read that things are different with coco but the large disparity has me concerned. The plant does look very heathy and is starting to flower. Thanks for your help.

I've been growing in coco for decades and I never check the run off.
As long as you are feeding to run off and your plants are healthy........nothing to worry about.
You might considering lowering the pH of your nute solution to around 6.0.
Good luck.

As Mick mentioned.. run off is misleading. I’d be way more concerned with the coco being fed at a ph where nutrients can be taken up by the plant.
