You didn’t read the articleSeriously? Your metric of whether a compound is a salt is taste? That's absurd.
I agree NaCl is pretty tasty, but that has nothing to do with the fact that Epsom salt is indeed a salt
I know what happens if you put salt on the ground or plants it kills everythingSeriously? Your metric of whether a compound is a salt is taste? That's absurd.

"Epsom salt" is a salt, in the chemical sense of the word. It's obviously not the same as "table salt".You know it’s comical

It’s called a salt it is not a salt based on compound
- Magnesium sulfate is an inorganic salt with the formula MgSO4(H2O)x where 0≤x≤7. It is often encountered as the heptahydrate sulfate mineral epsomite (MgSO4·7H2O), commonly called Epsom salt. The overall global annual usage in the mid-1970s of the monohydrate was 2.3 million tons, of which the majority was used in agriculture.
It's called a salt. It's a salt. It’s called a salt it is not a salt based on compound
Throw salt on your lawn then throw Epsom salt on another patch
I suppose you believe you need to flush it before harvest too? It's called a salt. It's a salt.
Maybe you should drop the issue.
They're two DIFFERENT saltsThrow salt on your lawn then throw Epsom salt on another patch
One of these will wreck the soil
This all started when a complete know nothing declared that if you don’t flush Epsom salt before harvest that your weed will taste like crapThey're two DIFFERENT salts
I think you're conflating table salt with salts in general
This is my issue right hereYES!, or your buds will smell and taste horrible/harsh...and no amount of jar cure will fix it.
Salts and starches are your enemy in the end
Keep on flushingThat's why I never bother coming to this section, which is amateur hour.
Been a med cultivator for a decade now.
