It might not be down to how often you water, it could be down to the soil holding water for too long, you may need to add extra perlite or sharp sand into the soil mix next run.

Yea these rice hulls don’t seem to be quite as good as perlite. Need to add more

just regular sharp sand? Does this not throw the pH off or do you rinse in PhD water first?

local sharp sand builders use for concrete.
I guess you can rinse the sand, don't think the sand effects the ph, I have used it for years without any problems.

It's my understanding an N lockout can be created by lack of Mg, which I resolved with Epsom salt; only this has to be flushed out prior to harvest.
Boy did I learn that one the hard way, as no amount of curing will improve the harsh flavor.

Also I did start getting tip burn and slight clawing just before flower, so I assumed nitro toxicity, not sure if that is helpful

I'll be happy to assist, as Rollitup has always had a rep as Trollitup...this section in particular.
Don't over-analyze, whichever poster mention lack of N during early flower is possibly the most accurate assessment.
I've had this condition, and he or she was correct in that no amount of N added will correct the damaged leaves; which you don't want much of at your stage anyways.

This is what I have been using so far into flower. Just the bloom, meant to switch to bloom 2( which I assume has lower N and more ok) at around week 5
