1) Republicans have embraced fascist values. That is anathema to a conservative.

2) Conservatives get every protection. MAGAs, recognized as anything but conservative (and shame on them for trying to steal the term) squandered their right to free speech as soon as they embraced a pack of pernicious bullthing.

3) Republicans today do not believe in free speech. That is incompatible with their current dedication to That Man and his set of lies. Free speech endangers this authoritarian cult that is the current GOP.
