Dude I get fade from a lot of cultivars feeding up to the end. It's called a natural fade, not discoloration from starving. It goes back to the cure, an anaerobic bacterial fermentation that slowly breaks down "plant material" preserving terpenes and cannabinoids2 things. 1) flushing exists, and it does indeed do something. Maybe people want the color change? According to the studies apparently flushing does nothing. I go with what ever science says. So it’s just colors. Anything else?
When I say brown and crispy I change my mind to brown and cured. You know when the leaves fall off the trees and there are leaves on the ground. Some are green, red, yellow, brown. And as the winter comes more, some stay green and just freeze. Some turn a perfect brown, maybe the leaf was in just the right place, warm and moist yet also dry and breezy.
3) I only want this because I want to know what its like, if it is better. Maybe it is or isn’t. Certain other things that are smoked are probably picked green and turned brown? The trick is to maintain all the trics in perfect condition, no losses to vaporization. And yet have the plant material just basically degraded to nothing. Cuz face it who wants to smoke plant material. It’s all about the dabs
New meathod, cure the budz in a high pressure atmosphere, to prevent vaporization.
you can flatearth your plant
how to:
Sit on your plant for an hour then the buds will grow big trich hairs
try it !!!!!
this thread has convinced me to eliminate flushing . would that stopping using a yucca extract to help the nutrient uptake??That's really interesting; so it looks like the observed differences in the flushed plants were marginally higher quantity of less desirable concentrate, and marginally higher quantity of less desirable flower. I've only flushed one grow to date and it was only for a week, but it looks like that's the last time for me.
bro science broWhat’s a trich hair?
Isn't Brawndo some cleaning agent or something that was available in the '50's?

This are those long sativa ones rightWhat’s a trich hair?
I absolutely always Harvest transplant and sow using a lunar plant calendar. Most harvests with full sun outdoor I’ll try to coincide my 1st cuts ( it usually takes me 3 chops to take down a full size outdoor plant ) with a full moon.harvest at full moon
Def helps to pop seeds during a full moon.I absolutely always Harvest transplant and sow using a lunar plant calendar. Most harvests with full sun outdoor I’ll try to coincide my 1st cuts ( it usually takes me 3 chops to take down a full size outdoor plant ) with a full moon.
If you live near an ocean you may notice the tidal action that occurs with lunar activity. In northern latitudes tidal action is even more pronounced.
What we call tides is the effects of lunar gravity, combined with the rotational forces of the earth.

So the lunar gravity affects our oceans via tidal influence. Why wouldn’t the same lunar gravity effect plants which use vascular pressure to draw up water and nutrients from their roots to their leaves?
Obviously it does ,
Not a huge stretch to realize that you definitely want to harvest plants under a full moon naked with crystals and a drum circle .. BRO
Just yanking yah mate, I believe it makes a diff but I may or may not be a bro. For outdoor and deps it can be beneficial. Under artificial lights not so sure if it matters.
You may not have noticed, but tidal forces are extremely weak in smaller bodies of water. The Great Lakes for example. Or the Red and Black Seas. The tides there are a few centimetres.I absolutely always Harvest transplant and sow using a lunar plant calendar. The way I understand it for popping seeds and rooting cuttings is it helps them hold moisture better from the gravitational pull of the moon. You may not have noticed, but tidal forces are extremely weak in smaller bodies of water. I haven't done any formal research, but if they affected the plants enough to increase or decrease harvests I'm pretty sure farmers would have noticed by now.
There's an entire thread dedicated to Lunar cycle growing on another forum. I've had some discussions with the growers there as I was curious about what they believed, but each one seemed to have different reasons. Some were pretty rational, others were some of the spaciest people I have ever met, and I used to go to pagan festivals.
ThisI can't tell if half the posts here are people trying to drop facts to dispel myths or posting bro science without realizing it.
Google it, read up on how it works. It's not bro science lol."using a lunar plant calendar"
Seems most probable that ancient farmers used the moon as a calendar to track time and for a light source. Seriously doubt there is any actual effect to the plant. If planting is timed properly with the moon cycles then there will be extra light available for harvesting plants outdoors. Ancient farmers did not have artificial lights to extend hours needed to properly see in the night during harvest.
Take a pack of seeds..... pop half during a full moon and the other half two weeks prior or after. All other conditions the same, you'll see the difference.View attachment 4764070
Beats me.
