Trump is a troll, I think everyone in his cult even could agree to that. And while it drives me nuts (someone not in his cult) because I think it is incredibly dangerous, I do understand the joy it must give his true believers when Trump trolls 'them'. Another thing I hope we could regardless of perceived 'side' that at this point Trump has branded 'them' as Democrats.
Unfortunantly for the the actual Democratic party, Trump, with the help of his troll army (foreign militaries, cultists, fear mongers and the domestic terrorists they inspire), is now able to use his shamelessness in using all the power that comes with being president of the United States of America to troll us all. Calling a press conference (that doesn't answer any questions) last minute on a holiday (forcing all the all those people to have to work on a holiday celebrating labor rights) to birth his troll across national television.
Fortunately his troll falls under the 'obvious' category generally.
An example is how Trump using Harris saying that we should not trust Trump to not politicize medicine as being the most obvious troll set up that he can call her a 'anti-vaxxer'.
I understand how all of the people who are the ones not protecting their children from preventable diseases (like measles) putting us all at risk, would love to have Dear Leader throw this back at the 'lib's' who they perceive as looking down on them for their beliefs. But it is still shitty.
And it is such an obvious troll. All he had to do is say something assinine like he did with the key words 'October' 'surprise' 'vaccines' right after calling Harris out, and the press is essentially obligated to have Kamala Harris answer a question on it.
In this troll, Trump is instead of listening to all the best minds in our nation trying like hell to figure out the highest probability of success for our nation during a time of a pandemic, he is actively using this crisis as a way to delegitimize/politicize science.
He must have been really upset about Harris taking him on.
