At the moment, I don't see any progress unless the President and both Houses of Congress are in Democrat control. Mitch McConnell has all the control over legislation and I don't see him making any deals. I just don't. Sorry for the pessimism.

Ya just need to dynamically update for 12 hours a day, so the the numbers can be spread out over that period to make it update more frequently. These are not accurate daily stats anyway, just a rough guide and Trump and some red states are trying to under count the dead for PR reasons.

Some are predicting up to 3K/day if things and enough people get stupid and I've already seen large numbers of idiots in the media. Hundreds of thousands are traveling to neighboring open states for weekends and holidays, many have "quarantine fever", are eager and blown away by the novel pleasurable stimulation.

sanders didn't run in 2016- clinton did..i made certain to fall in line and cast my vote by showing up on election day.

everyone who is eligible to vote should.

as long as the government is paying me to stay home, i am..i order everything in i can and venture out sparingly..when i go out i notice all the empty 'open':wall:

He probably voted in the primary to split the ticket, looks like a Trumper and acts like one too, a neo nazi, viking warrior wannabe. One of the "weak" minded at the very least and probably believes a bunch of conspiracy theories. I wouldn't trust anything a guy like that said anyway.

I agree. It's a tall order to get a Democratic Party majority in the Senate, much less get a filibuster-proof one for Democrats in 2020. More than likely, regardless who controls the Senate, we are looking at at least two more years of gridlock if both parties are is unable to compromise.

I'm just curious what you think about using Trump's pardon as a means to get important legislation done.

So it’s ok to pardon him because you can get him another way? Trump’s federal crimes are many.

Just looking at the Ukraine scandal, alone. Every reasonable person knows what he did was criminal. These crimes weren’t only harmful to the US but to another country as well. An ally.

An important question to ask is: what message would this send to the other countries of the world if these crimes were pardoned?

Because of Trump the US is diminishing it’s status of importance on the world stage. I think to give Trump a pardon of any kind would diminish it further.

It doesn't look like he has much respect for "fake" media or the reporters, probably holds them in contempt and is playing them for the party.
