Why Are My Trichomes Still Clear?

Trying to figure out why my trichomes don't seem like they're ripening. I'm now at 64 days of flower (nine weeks and one day).
All my plants, including indicas like Purple Kush or Northern Lights, seem like they're progressing slower than expected.

What could cause this? I have a lot of time-proven strains in my room from PeakSeedsBC growing in organic, living soil.

I'm not surprised at 64 days that's not far along, they would just be beginning to amber. But it is heavily strain and even pheno dependent.
Triacantonal can make your buds take longer, some nutrient lines have it in there. Just a possibility.

cold temps will slow down a plants progression. Its even possible you had cold temps a few months ago near the beginning of flower which slowed the transition.

This is a perfect example of "they finish when they finish". I've had proven clones get delayed by 2-3 weeks before(from a cold snap), but they still finished just as perfect as usual once I got things warmed up. It just took longer.

When a strain is rated at "9 week flower" typically thats not including the couple weeks of transition from veg to flower.

I’m not at home to take pics, but I will be tonight.

If I consider flowering to have initiated when the first pistils appeared, then I’m probably not at the eight week mark yet. Maybe I should just wait it out patiently. What do you think?

Of course....its that damn triacantonal again. If only God hadnt made triacantonals, this world would be better. Life...

In the 60s farmers found that corn grown near Alfalfa grows faster and yields more. It turns out Alfalfa produces nitrogen and when broken down by microorganisms in the soil/compost tea, releases a Plant Growth Regulator(PGR) Called Triacontanol which increases node sites and yield by up to 50%. Take a look at the ingredients on the bottle nutrients for example, Massive Bloom, Advanced Nirvana, etc. They contain Triacontanol for use in bloom but could cause the problem of buds not finishing. Using it early in veg is the key, not in bloom boosters so you don't run into the issue described of buds not finishing. The compost tea also has a lot of trace elements and Amino acids which cure any micro deficiencies and give you a bigger stalk. They all work together in doubling yield. Just a few things, that is all.
