I 'ant bragging and gotta watch my self like a hawk (with the help of friends), but I've trained my mind and though not as intensively today as in the past, somethings none the less stuck. The parts of my brain that I trained did not make me much smarter, but it sure as shit made me wiser, more compassionate, emotionally stable and happy on a deep level that few can truly understand or appreciate, but it takes time and effort to grow yer brain. Ya kinda know what drives ya deep down inside because you've looked deeply and are crystal clear on yer intentions and motives, keeps ya outta trouble.

I strongly suspect you are brain damaged in this area of the prefrontal cortex where most of the rewiring, remapping, synaptic and neurogenesis takes place in training. It's not much different than being a body builder really and your teacher is yer coach in training and gets ya through the rough spots. It develops moral and ethical muscles and will grow a conscience on a stump, but it's not just a source of pain, but a friend who keeps ya on the right path in life.

It's also called the path to peace, inner peace that is, but we spread our wings too...

I usually read a message of his every couple weeks - usually when i need context for somebody else's post. But it has been a long time since I felt the need.

The cool thing is, you can respond to his posts without reading them and he is so predictable that your response is still relevant.

He was very proud that local restaurants would be serving his peppers in some salads without filthy lucre changing hands.

Wow, that's the basis of an economy alright, one with about 0.00000000001% of the volume that we currently have.

But at least he didn't get thrown in jail, because he seems to think that openly trading some peppers with somebody is a federal crime. It isn't, unless you are trading them for the rights to copulate with an underage child.

I use him as an object lesson to spout about my passions, teach ethical and moral lessons and bring those issues to the fore, these are also the things driving American politics today, fear, hatred, greed and delusion. Teaching these skills in high schools will help a lot, it is lethal to any causes driven by such things as greed, fear, hatred, envy and delusion. Modern multicultural societies need defenses against social division, teaching this stuff in high school is part of the solution and the most effective one too, it makes better people and citizens. Change the world by starting with your self, by becoming more selfless and less selfish, connecting one person at a time in a deep and meaningful way, ya gotta care for that to happen.
