I read you shouldn’t put a small plant in a big container.. because of the watering and oxygen or something.itll be okay if i plant my teeny tiny plant in a bucket?
As long as you don't over water, it's fine. Cannabis likes frequent wet/dry cycles in the soil. More frequent, lighter, watering is better than drenching it once a week. Water around the outside of the drip line to make the plant put out more roots.

Don't over think it, they're just annual herbs, not some alien plant. Bucket, good soil+ extra perlite, supplemental fertilizer (I recommend fish fert ), water. Get a tomato cage to hold up your giant colas.

OP - just throw a dart and read one whole book/bible. They all have their pros and cons and fans.
yeah they do, they all have good infor to be used. It's just how you use the info. Alot of the time it's good question that will get the right answers......

just use information with a grain assault....ultimately it's up to the plant then the grower of..

If you are the type of person who likes to learn a lot about something that you do, then I highly recommend getting a Cannabis grow book/bible (there are lots to choose from) and read it cover to cover. It won't have all the answers and it will contain a lot of info you don't necessarily need right now, but it'll stay in your head and create a great foundation. This helps prevent rookie mistakes.
Get an educational book on general horticulture and learn to grow with that. Then get the cannabis books once you understand the basics and can use species specific information.

You should check out the newbie forum, you can answer many of your questions there as well. I strongly encourage you to get a bible/book as well, knowledge is power. :peace:

I just get so confused because there’s so many ways to grow the same plant. Well there’s different strains but you understand, i wonder what “cannibas Bible” would be be best?

If you do this, then you need to water VERY conservatively, just around the stem, until the plants are bigger. If you water all the soil really well, the plant can't use it all and the soil remains soaked and suffocates the plant. Rookie mistakes!
Gotcha! Small amount of water by the base of the plant.

Good advice, but that's a lot of material to work through when you already have seedlings sprouted.

Here is a place to get a free grow bible.

If you are going outdoors with these let them get a few true leaves and then repot up and find a semi-shady place to put them for a few days. Morning light is fine, but afternoon sun is too strong until they have four or five true leaf sets.

My nephew grows outside and he said he grew about 12 Lbs last year in his side yard ~4X40 Ft. I'm growing in a bath tub and hope to get ~6 oz out of my grow. I'm trying Auto flower seeds now because I need speed to fill my jars before I try specialty strains. Different people aim for differing results.

Cannabis doesn't need a lot of different 'secret sauces' check the RIU Newbies and other threads. Lots of information, most of it excellent, some of it is derp. There are a few pretty good single bottle/bag nutes you can use to get started. Remember the KISS Principle ( Keep It Simple Stoner).
