So you will only kill someone else or yourself if you own a gun? Do you even know what the number one murder weapon is?
Do you speak english or should I get out my dictionary for the retard language?

Do you understand what the words "most likely" mean?

If you own a gun for protection you are
  • much more likely to kill yourself with it than use it for protection.
  • Next most likely is that you or a family member will accidentally hurt somebody with it.
  • Next most likely is that you will intentionally use it on a family member.
  • Next most likely is that you will brutalize your spouse or significant other with it.
  • Next most likely is that you will be hurt when you try to use it in self defense because bad guys have a lot of experience in this sort of thing.
  • Waaaaaaay down on the list is successful use of the gun in self defense or defense of somebody else.
You are a tool and listen to right wing propaganda. I think you should put your gun to it's most common use and save us the expense of keeping your worthless demented ass alive when you get old.
The statistic I keep pointing out to a friend who wants a handgun. From the Bureau of Justice statistics:

About 1.4 million guns, or an annual average of 232,400, were stolen during burglaries and other property crimes in the six-year period from 2005 through 2010.

Scary thought.

yeah

I heard an interview of a gang member kid who said it was easy to get a gun and ammunition. When he wanted a gun, he said every household has one, you just burgle a house and look for the guns.

If gun owners actually followed guidelines posted by the NRA, when not being carried, they would be unloaded and locked away in a safe with ammunition kept elsewhere.

I know it's weird but my guns have never shot me or a family member from their locked safe...

Crazy eh?
We all grow drugs here, trust me, I feel you on this.

However, we at some point have to concede, our "need" to satiate that fear of home invasion with firearms also means guys that hang out hotel windows and shoot concert goers can arm themselves too.

Give me all that shit about criminals can still get guns that you want...

You can feel safe in your home with your guns, but that also means a world where you can't be safe in the streets, at the movies, concerts, etc.

White people in this country are cowards. They buy a gun to feel safe even though it can be shown that for the average person they are less safe simply by owning it.
exactly. who cares if a gunman can pick off people in the city like a goddamn grand theft auto game, god forbid a redneck in the middle of nowhere can't shoot his gun at barrels of gasoline!
