That maximum draw factoring in about a 6% driver loss is about right if I was understanding what I was taught correctly. I'm an absolute noob with electronics just winged it lol

I like those, I may look for one. I got some little 2 dollar displays, they just show Voltage and Current. The first one I bought worked fine. Then I bought several more from a different seller. The second batch that I got were the bad ones. When I checked one against my multimeter, its reading was double.
This seemed like the best one I could find in my price range. I'll let you know how it holds up over time. And will get a multimeter when I have a few more quid about me cos this build has left me broke for a short while
There is some amazing stuff in that 1600 pages Think I got in around 400 lol. A few great growers moved on a while ago. But most of the rock stars and kind souls are still there.

Nice one mate. I have literally winged it and had a lot of help with the maths etc. The engineering is all me though. And I'm happy how it's turned out. The volt/am meter was only about £10 on ebay. And the project box was about £5 in screwfix. Still need to get the fans wired up and shit but I'm slacking
Sometimes that's the best way. Wish I had a dremel to cut that project box. Sat there with a file for ages to get it nice. Dremel is on the list for new tools Trust me
