Just starting to size things up a bit now I can. View attachment 3969894
Still need the 3000ks to come though. Need to order fans and wire too. Just gonna go for 1mm strand. On the advice of @xX_BHMC_Xx I know you said 0.893 but 1mm is easier to come by.
Cheers mate. It's been a labour of love and I wouldn't have been able to do it without @xX_BHMC_Xx assistance. Definitely credit where it's due. And I need to finish up the run I'm on before she sees any action. Tents way too full to be swapping lights out nowOk just caught up.
Nice build!
Now let's see what she'll grow, mate-
That's ace that. Absolute diamond of a dog. (named after the original bathound) and nice one mateNice. Who is your helper in the picture? Looks like a nice dog.
Might have to invest in a dremel for next time. I drilled that the majority of the way then just filed to shape. Took a while but worth it to be neat i think.Looking great man! I'm glad you were able to get that COB replaced and get the fixture running. The junction box looks clean, nice work. I've found that the little engraving tools that come with a dremel (and never get used otherwise) work really well for cutting plastic. You can cut in any direction, really convenient. Can't wait to see it over some plants!
Dont go for Dremel, there is a MUCH brand called Proxon or something similar, Dremel's quality started going downhill a while ago...Might have to invest in a dremel for next time. I drilled that the majority of the way then just filed to shape. Took a while but worth it to be neat i think.
Ahaha, do you remember Twissman - Life Journeys. Sometime after that the channel went to shit. Mattafix was a decent track too.Yeah mate. I was one of those kids. Of the bashy. Shifty. Kcat. Akala era haha. Smoking my solid in shotties and drinking grolsch at the weekends. You know the one
I do remember twissman haha. You're right about it being garbage nowadays. I listen to all kinds of shit though now from classical to reggae dub. Tamla motown and trad Irish music haha so my taste is no better lolAhaha, do you remember Twissman - Life Journeys. Sometime after that the channel went to shit. Mattafix was a decent track too.
Nowdays though that music is kinda garbage tbh.

Very nice work. The ammeter is a nice touch.Wired in the ammeter pics of max and minimum draw. (not including fan speed controller. Fans and apv12 12 driver) View attachment 3974626 View attachment 3974627 View attachment 3974629
And that's where it shall be permanently mounted. Fan speed controller will go to the left of the fan channel and everything that can be adjusted can be done from the front of the tent.
Appreciate the kind words mate. As I said quite a lot is on the advice/admiration of @xX_BHMC_Xx build. His thread is definitely worth a look. My build is pretty similar light wise just without everything being remote. I wanted a whole fixed unit.Very nice work. The ammeter is a nice touch.
Verify the accuracy of your voltmeter/ammeter with a good multimeter. I've got a handful of these displays that are off by 100% or more (they read double the actual current). They have little adjustment pots, but they only affect the reading by about 20%.Voltmeter ammeter housed in ip55 rated Junction box. Absolute pain in the arse cutting through that plastic but it's there. As soon as the cobs are soldered I'll be wiring up the full system apart from the fans because I need to order a fan speed controller and a 12v driver. View attachment 3973898
