Looking great man! I'm glad you were able to get that COB replaced and get the fixture running. The junction box looks clean, nice work. I've found that the little engraving tools that come with a dremel (and never get used otherwise) work really well for cutting plastic. You can cut in any direction, really convenient. Can't wait to see it over some plants!

Might have to invest in a dremel for next time. I drilled that the majority of the way then just filed to shape. Took a while but worth it to be neat i think.

Dont go for Dremel, there is a MUCH brand called Proxon or something similar, Dremel's quality started going downhill a while ago...

I do remember twissman haha. You're right about it being garbage nowadays. I listen to all kinds of shit though now from classical to reggae dub. Tamla motown and trad Irish music haha so my taste is no better lol

Appreciate the kind words mate. As I said quite a lot is on the advice/admiration of @xX_BHMC_Xx build. His thread is definitely worth a look. My build is pretty similar light wise just without everything being remote. I wanted a whole fixed unit.

Verify the accuracy of your voltmeter/ammeter with a good multimeter. I've got a handful of these displays that are off by 100% or more (they read double the actual current). They have little adjustment pots, but they only affect the reading by about 20%.
Edit: Now that I see the display lit up, its quite different from the ones I have. Can you link to a source on that little bugger?
