Most company's dont pay tax due to operating losses.. Company tax is paid in the country the business is based in (Do they even have an office in America?). Tariffs only apply if they exists and are not negotiated in the contact if they do (they are normally negotiated out). A Canadian company has already been chosen to build it ..i dont see what he was going for in regard to an American one... That was strange. What fees will be paid? Why? Who to? Oil is going to China..Why refine and then ship? Its more expensive.
I think he even deleted his own post im trying to answer as he knows how silly he is. He even had a go at my spelling (which is shocking) and made more mistakes than me..Typical Trump voter.

I'm not ignorant, The planet is getting warmer, The michigan winters are not the same as they were 15 years ago. But the earth goes through cycles , This is one of them, I dont believe that we are dumping enough co2 into the atmosphere to cause it, Like a drop in the ocean so to speak, the clean air act just put alot of people out of business and made lots of folks around here mad as hell , I'm sure the woodstoves are the cause of the bad air. Hell the last forrest fire put off more smoke in one day then all the woodburners in michigan have for the last 100 years.

You have absolutely no idea what the carbon output of any of the things you mentioned are, pure anecdotal BS.
Forest fires don't "make CO2", they release whatever they've captured but then produce fertile soil and the forest regrows to re-sequester the CO2.

We've had 6 million acres of boreal forest go up in smoke. In the interior folks are required not to burn solid fuel in the winter due to non attainment. EPA reg. They burn regardless. Exempt from measurement of output are aircraft, trains, power plants, governmental vehicles. Major contributors. Hypocritical. Makes no sense. When forest fires rage in summer, ahh that's just nature.
