So do I. I check in on you from time to time to see if you've regained your senses.

Current 'whether' report; partly troubled with occasional flashes of insight.
I've already said I liked Sanders...

However the simple facts are:

He lost the Primary fair and square

Hillary won the vote in the election by a historical margin (literally a record) but gerrymandered "swing states" stole it for a Republican...again.

For the second time in 20 years.

And the candidate that was elected is a Russian shill-puppet that used a foreign power to help seize control.

How well did you know Barak Obama in 2007?
still waiting for your watch list for 2020.

Funny you should mention 2007 when asking. In 2007, me and Barak were buddies until we had a falling out over some cigarettes that he had hidden from Michelle. I didn't take them but he thought I did and never forgave me. I still think Michelle flushed them and never told him. In any case, he never talked to me again. sigh

And you should've seen the comment section on these stations during this time..'we the people' were FURIOUS, not to be fooled by what they were doing = 7M DIDNT SHOW!!!

Try it again Dems and see what happens..'we the people' would rather take our chances with the unknown than with the known.

We will not fall in line any longer and this includes myself. I voted for Clinton against my will, taken hostage by the turn of events from Russia involving itself..that was the deciding factor for me, this time. I felt railroaded by the lies and cheating of Clinton & Cronies then railroaded again by the hacking turn of events. It's now being reported Comey knew, the Gang of 12 met and decided to keep this from us with all Dems voting to release this information and only half the Pukilcans..

Why do they even bother pretending anymore?

'What do you have to lose?' Simple question yet defining moment.

A true patriot doesn't throw their vote away by not voting. In hindsight, the true patriots were the Gang of 7M, who stood up to this.

Total number of votes cast in the Hillary vs. Trump election: 2008: 131,304,357; 2012: 122,265,430; 2016: 132,899,453

Percentage voter turnout: 2008; 62.3 %; 2012: 57.5 %; 2016; 55%

That 7M number is really shaky. In other words cherry picked data and statistic gymnastics required to explain it at all. Based on total turnout? well, no. More voters in 2016 than 2008 which was a record year. Based on percent turnout? kind of sort of but not really. Since 1960, voter turnout varied between 50% and 63%. We don't need a Clinton effect to explain the difference. Care to back your claim of 7M staying home in protest of Clinton. By this I mean more than your words.

Some millennials stayed home but a lot of others did too. This sort of thing happens in really negative campaigns like this one. Could just as well claim a Trump effect.

In 4 years Sanders will be pissing his diaper in a retirement home.

Find a new progressive.
So, why don't you put somebody's name down. Booker is out due to his ties to Wall Street and now his support for Big Pharma. Warren and Tim Ryan are well known names that haven't fucked up yet. Agree that Sanders is getting along in years and want newer younger leaders who will be around a while. Do you have anything to contribute or are you just a side line kibitzer? Otherwise known as TIF in other circles.
