DIY with Quantum Boards

The board may do everything you need it to without the additions. My 2 board setup is rocking at only 100w and room to go up. The spectrum seems to be everything it needs so far.
I have some 2 week vegging plants that will be my guinea pig grows to see what this QB can do. With that other mod i mentioned would be a switchable option .

Even a deep red addition would look to be another option too.

The deep red I'm looking into but will wait until a few grows "may not need it or get enough from it". The spectrum seems to cover all bases. If you haven't built or turned on the QB yet WARNING !!! do not look at it when you plug it in lol. You see the pattern on COBs on the board ? you will see that for awhile if you do !

Are we going to see "highly reflective walls" replaced by "highly lighted walls" via QBs? Lots of possibilities for imaginative lighting configurations. How many versions do you think will be here in a year? Surround light for plants? Reduced headspace considerations? Dorm room drawers filling with buds?

$699 for a rig like the yoda dude's? Sounds cool.
No his uses 1 X HLG 320H-1400 driver on 4 boards. They are mounted on a 12" X 48" aluminum plate. His has a special application optic. Total power draw 330-340 watts.

The 699 build is 2 X HLG 240H-1400A drivers on 4 boards. They are on a 24X24 aluminum plate with heatsinks also mounted behind each board but no optics. Total power 560 watts @ 120 VAC

I think TTystkk said he thought his $699 light could take on a 1000 HPS or even a DE 1150/1215 HPS. Will you be selling these on your we site? Thanks.
