I have 5 Boards from 3 makers, youngest of which are almost 4 years old and the oldest over 5 years and all are seemingly strong as ever. No problems of any kind.
I wonder if u can bake them to re flow the solder
also wonder if when losing the diodes, it may affect the way the driver hits the boards and maybe makes more fail? I am hoping for 10+ years from my diodes (fingers crossed)
Yes and yes, you can replace the diodes individually even using just a higher temp soldering iron, and yes a row out on your board can force the other rows in that section to "overdrive" not usually a problem but can cause issues over time, like premature failure.
