I've never seen more hate for a movie before. I haven't seen it myself, so I can't say if it's warranted or not, but pretty much all of the reviews people make about it on YouTube are negative. The main arguments seem to stem from things outside actual filmmaking and into the PC culture of America today, there are people who say that if you give this movie a negative review, you're just sexist because it has a female cast, but all of the reviews I've seen are much more critical of the story, the stereotypes they put the different actresses in, especially Leslie Jones, the lackluster animation and effects and the total lack of respect for the franchise.

So to those that have seen it, how is it, how did you like it? Do you think the criticisms against it are valid or does it seem like there is legitimate sexism going into the reviews for this movie?

I was waiting for someone to start a thread about this.
I've heard nothing but good things from those that I respect. The leads are all very talented and half of the original folks have their hands in it, including Reitman.

Apparently there is a big 'internet movement' looking to bash the film in every way possible (mostly sexist, of course), but as with Drumpf supporters, I'm sure it's all a huge puff of hot air from a very LOUD and dickless misogynistic minority. ;)
Typically something along these lines: "Hey, I love the original GB but women frighten and confuse me, plus I've never seen an actual vagina, and this REMAKE has an all FEMALE cast! SUCKS! It's AWFULLLL!!"

I'm looking forward to it...I've even been scoping out the figures - they all come with a piece of 'Rowan'! (Main logo ghost)

Im pretty sure those large words are an insult...and maybe I agree with your political stance here Lou but I am also having a hard time accepting anyone's word that four female comedians can even come close to being as awesome as Bill Fucking Murray...maybe as a standalone it would be acceptable but it was one of the greatest movies of all time that they are competing with here.

That's the (frail) ego talking, though - Who's "competing" with anything? Sit back, drink beer, and have a fucking good time...it's not as if the original is some sort of Dickensian masterwork, and yeah, I saw (and loved) it a bunch of times in the theatre.

People get waaayyyyy too angry/rattled by trivial shit....sports fans, mebe? :P

Ive recently started stopping jacking off right before I bust a nut.I get right to the end and stop, I put my hands behind my back and make dramatic facial expressions as it thobs and jumps up and down.. after I do that a few times I stroke it slow and it feels like im cumming the whole time im stroking it.
