Mrs and I are cleaning & painting the apartment beginning today - our previous renter left us with an ass load of work before we can rent it out again & we have a very good prospect that wants in the beginning of May.

I don't even mask anything off anymore, I've painted an apartment a week for almost 2 years now. I rarely get paint where I shouldn't.

I'm guessing you did your fair share of painting spaces on boats as a younger enlisted man. I was on 3 ships and loved painting. Turn on the boom box and go to work. Nobody bothered me. Just zone out. And at the end if the day it was instant gratification.
Since then, I still like helping friends paint their houses. But they always underestimate the importance and time involved with proper prep, taping, cutting in, etc. Damn near 50% of the job.
But I like it. Easy work and you can do it while stoned. And naked, if you don't want paint on your clothes.

I painted the ceiling in the living room in one of my rentals last night. I got paint everywhere lol. I fucking hate painting too @GreatwhiteNorth . Especially when it's not even yours to enjoy the finished product after!
I took off work at 2pm today and finally had enough rage to properly swing a sledgehammer. Bout 25% done. Fuck me.

i got these to get up and running. they were restore in the 80s and were parked in one of my barns and been sitting there.
long story on why i just left them there and not sold them or put them on the road.
