Opened up fully stocked with prices lower than any of the dispensaries in the area, by a lot.

oh yea theres companies that are main stream now opening in those areas as legalization happens and jumping from state to state as they open up.. its just like anyother business and believe it or not these big guys are keeping quality a must they want the "walmart of weed" title .. so that you know if you go from state to state you can depend on their product to be consistent in all areas.

in our market a high yielding strain that keeps you above 1g/w and eats less then normal is your best bet. but in our rapper centric culture things like OG and Blueberry have taking most of the market share and those are low low yielders so finding a strain to emulate the quality and taste of the local favorites that yields more then normal and costs less then normal to produce is megaweeds only chance... and are they going to pull that off? I'm sure one or 2 might but thats a fucking MASTER master grower who set that up for success and not the dispensary owner.

in economic climates like we see ourselves in michigan its much better to emulate a farmer then any grower you see on the internet. farmers know how to put a minimum in and get a maximum out of high quality.

and investors aren't going to dump money into a failing state like michigan when the CO economy is doing so well outside the canna industry. the michigan economy is one of the most cash strapped market in the free world(white market not black market) why would you invest your money here versus somewhere like CA or CO or WA? or oregon? or any of the other states that have a good economy with money to spend..

your talking about opening a bar that sells lemonade in a poor lemon growing region of the world... why would you do that? sure a couple schmuch tourists from somewhere far away might come buy some of your lemonade but no one locally is going to.. why would megaweed make the same mistake?

don't get me wrong i know 2 guys locally that have there licenses and they are going hard in the paint. 1000 plants no problem... and guess what the quality is balls and they are asking 15-20a gram.. in a year they won't be in business anymore or at the very least will be much less richer then they anticipated..

Lol, the sad thing is that it is a very large part of our economy that is irresponsible with their finances/priorities. Literally a majority of media and marketing is targeting that demographic. It's where most of the consumer money goes. Unnecessary bullshit that's marketed to make stupid people feel they need it enough to go buy it with money they don't have. Have you not seen how the us commercial market works? Watched tv....ever?

Stupid people/people who are terrible with their finances fuel our economy. Smart people do things like save money and/or make initial investments so that their returns cover any stupid expenditures they have. Therefore never spending any money that actually effects things like your housing/food situation.

i dont support commercial grows but i can tell you they do not grow shit weed. they are the reason a lot of dispensaries in michigan have slowed and stopped buying from smaller growers. there are commercial operations running here that are pumping out weight of shit most growers aren't even touching quality wise and they are able to dump it cheap because they are holding rights to 5x the count you could ever hold.

not at all. most our state won't pay more then 35 an eighth for $50 an eighth quality level.. thats a problem when your trying to make a lot of money. its basic economics why big weed will fail in MI but that doesn't mean it won't come here. i just know the people working on the laws are at least educated on these same economic principles too so lets hope they keep the home garden model to give the dispensaries something to compete with. its when the home garden can't openly trade his overages that we see the problem where in now where growers can't get paid but dispensary owners get rich..

somewhere in the middle hopefully we can find relief and the dispensary owners/megaweed can do their thing and take their share of the low end mid level market but leave the mid-high to high level market to the connoisseur small batch growers... sorta like we do with beer.
