Cruz and Rubio are the exact same joke, just advocating a different ideology for the highest bidder. We The People have a symbiotic relationship with law, but a parasitic relationship to these lawyers controlled and paid for by the 1%.

its insanity really.... i actually want jeb bush lol..

www.grassmatch.com is a good referral source for local caregivers and patients to meet. I am sorry to hear ANYONE is running afoul of LEO over medical marijuana. My personal opinion on dispensaries is that they are a very important source of medication for some patients, but not the only source. My hope is that they will be formally legalized in the near future and that would improve the program for all patients and caregivers.

Dr. Bob
as long as that formal legalization doesn't take away the possibly of outside relationships. currently all legalization models just make the gap between grower pay and dispensary pay get even further apart.

which really isn't helping the growers but how do you think these patients feel knowing the ounce of medicine they need to feel better that just cost them $520 was bought just a day or 2 before for $175...

even the whole just meeting people to pick up meds somewhere that isn't a actual business makes some patients feel like drug users and weird things like that. totally understandable though.

oh dude if full legalization happened small growers would out, even large scale small growers would be out. big businesses would hold the majority of sales and I'm not talking about walmart but theres people out there in the weed business that are like the walmart of weed waiting for that legalization push to hit so they can take the market. its not a matter of if its a matter of when

Why does detroit need 80 dispensary's anyway. Its a shame this happened to dr who though hes a good guy.

Are you guys talking shit about other users? Calling people names? Posting boobies? I think rollitup is anti boob. I know he really don't like the shit talkers.
80?? there was like 148 or something like that in the area I'm pretty sure was the number.. they are taking to less than 80 though now i thought it was something low like 40 but i may be wrong.

the actual blanket of "detroit" does cover a wide area its not like in downtown detroit there was 148 dispensaries it was in the surrounding areas basically the county. now to their credit a lot of people in those areas aren't able to drive or travel distances to acquire meds at a main localized area so there was a reason for them to be a bit higher number wise but the counties numbers were getting really high and they were popping up like weeds with little regulation.

thats not true. we've shot down megaweed twice now and have 2 more opportunities to shoot it down again.. the colorado/wa model doesn't work in michigan not enough people have the money to fund it here.

theres a lot of money flowing into colorado for other things and that money makes its way into the canna industry by people who work elsewhere and wanna buy smoke.. here in michigan the amount of people outside the canna industry with good paying jobs that wanna buy smoke is a very small minority, id hate to estimate a percentage and be off but if i had to bet it would be less then 10% of the customers in michigan earn more then 30k a year.

basically our market is very cash poor but its got a HUGE demand and thats not a problem. lets use beer as an analogy... nattys ice will do well in a market like this but some IPA from a guy with an ironic mustache in grand rapids will probably not do amazing...

so if megaweed wants to come to michigan they are going to bring the worst possible quality for the most possible profit and thats not gonna fly, we live in some weird middle market right now where people demand at least a middle range quality for a low price and dispensaries wont give that so if the underground goes you will see dispensaries running sales and blowout prices left and right to try and attract business.. the megaweed model just doesn't work in such a cash strapped area

If legalization happened like Colorado and Washington, it wouldnt matter that there is no cash flow there to start, people with cash flow to start would move there just like co and wa. It would just have a detrimental effect on the economy instead of a productive one as people will always buy will just like people will always buy alcohol. Even when they're too poor to afford it.

but the point isn't us turning it down theres no real way around big business coming in .. i mean its really happening now just on smaller big scales here.. you can have 500-1000-1500 plant licenses here in michigan commercially. which is the open door for businesses to back operations.

no true. theres no opportunity in michigan like in CO mainly. no ones moving to WA really. what theres just tons of people with 100 grand in the bank who's gonna move to MI and support our weed economy? no they have to move here and get a job to support there habit...

it was novel in CO and the first few major movers went there but theres not a million people waiting in the wings to move to the next MJ legal state that novelty has worn off.

now when you have the money to get the license and start that operation how is a small scale 72 plant grower going to compete with that.. you'd have to have a team of growers to get on one backed corporate level.. and they aren't stupid they are risking millions and you think they are going to have shit weed?

businesses can't run if there isn't customers and the volume of people willing to pay top dollar for mediocre weed is NIL in michigan. unless they start popping up greenhouses and growing pounds for $40 and making $150-200 an ounce at the retail level, they will fail. anyone jumping in to the dispensary world trying to get rich have another thing coming... its possible but not easy as it was in other states.
