Boston Butt is healthier than bologna and hamburger and much cheaper, it just requires effort. I usually buy my red meat in packages from the meat market, I went into sticker shock when I saw the cost of packaged hamburger meat.

Eating natural is much healthier than eating processed. Pork gets a bad rap.

Im not entirely sure what those meats you are describing are, we get just ground beef, what is the difference? Different cuts?

Boston Butt is just a cut of pork. It's fattier than the tenderloin, but less fatty than the belly (where our wonderful and spirit lifting bacon comes from). In Canada their bacon comes from the tenderloin and is pretty awesome too. Nitrates are not the healthiest though.

Our bologna here is pretty much meat in a blender, lips and peckers, ground beef is the grounded waste of a cow usually, you can get better grades of hamburger though. I've heard bologna called Kentucky Round Steak lol.

Ours is mostly from the cuts that can't be sold too, and you can buy some that advertises as all beef (lips and peckers ARE part of the cow) that will not have the fillers. The UK seems even shadier than us.

That's cheap frozen crap, "Value" is the name a large retailer here (Tesco) uses as it's own brand range of super low priced (and equally low quality) products.

With the easy availability of grass fed, free range beef here buying premade burgers is pure lazyness.

How hard is it to take ground round steak, break an egg into it, add finely chopped onion and jalapeño and form into a patty?
