Well it's a lot of things Leaf, but 6 jets is only another one on the pile to hate us for. They don't see us as anything more than Americans. We are not so different in their minds hate.

It is more and more difficult to distinguish Canadians from Americans these days.
We have been fucking around in "their" backyard for years now, so I think we can expect more and more retaliation.
To try and get a perspective from "their" side take a look at the regular drone bombings...I would be pissed off. I think we can expect a lot more trouble in the future.

To make myself clear...I fully support our troops. I thank them. They follow orders. I do not agree with our political platform.

i was watching it on the news is it just me or does there police need more training.they didnt seem fluid in there movements like our swat i guess stuff like this doesnt happen very oftem over there.

We are inexperienced. Our police do not regularly deploy our swat for home drug raids so we do appear rusty.

Agree...so many places that could use help.....I wish we could just sit back and make maple syrup as a country but those innocent days are gone. It never fails to amaze me how many cowards will shriek about terrorists, have no issue sending armies to kill people in other countries (as long as they don't have to go fight themselves) and then have no issue with the fact that terrorists (aka criminals) kill a tiny fraction of people while cigarettes, shitty food, and lack of exercise kills orders of magnitudes more. But if you try and tell people that they can't smoke indoors, or advertising garbage as food should be illegal, or otherwise promote health you've basically got a big government "nanny state" trying to intrude on their lives.

War on (insert noun here) should immediately raise everyone's bullshit detector. It'll inevitably result in a tremendous waste of resources, a loss of civil liberties, and a bloated, corrupt, and secretive bureaucracy.

It's already happened here in the US. The "Patriot Act" has created the very scenario you're speaking of. Our government has carte blanche to collect data on every single US citizen all in the name of "security". Phone calls, texts, e-mails..... everything is being watched.

Western intelligence agencies had helped in the emergence of Isis, using the militants as a proxy to fight against the Syrian regime and thereby “putting the blades in their hands”.

American leadership of this military campaign will only worsen the situation, as it would be done for the wrong motives.
