You didn't build that

Or..... being the successful entrepreneur that I am, I start a business that doesn't rely on the post office and roads. Maybe I could even start a company that repairs roads or delivers packages.

Or..... I could get on disability for my trigger finger.

I have no control over either action though.

repairing roads depends upon there being roads in the first place. Delivering packages depends upon those roads being there. Even if you sell beaded trinkets at a roadside attraction you have not done it all by yourself.

USPS is a separate entity of the government that is in the constitution. It was profitable at one time but the postmaster general has been consistently blocked when he presents cost cutting measures that would make it profitable again. It's quite sad really how little business sense our elected leaders have.

You didn't really think that the poison pill that the republicans fed the Postal service was a result of bad business accumen did you? It was purposeful, it is not in Republicans or conservative's best interest for any government body but the U.S. military be successful, such a success would destroy their primary proposition, that government can't work.

You don't need to build a business that doesn't rely on roads or other government services. Whatever additional level of use any business requires of public infrastructure is already paid for automatically. If they use vehicles to deliver their products, they pay for that use through embedded taxes in gasoline as well as a plethora of other taxes and fees that are directly linked to the vehicles and the use of those vehicles. If they use delivery services, those taxes/fees are already embedded in the charges they pay to FedEx, UPS...etc.

Gonna use phones and/or the internet? Embedded and additional state and Federal taxes are in the use of those services as well.

Then of course you have increased property tax if you expand which covers the "fictitious" increase of burden you place on police and fire departments, even if you NEVER need their assistance. Easy point to argue, if you don't have a fire, you haven't utilized any additional fire services. And as we all know, police forces are a reactionary entity, they get the bad guys AFTER the crime is committed in almost every case. So, unless you're robbed, you use ZERO additional police services. The entire concept that you use more because you have more to lose is preposterous and the product of fucking idiots.

These businesses create government revenue through licenses, fees, sales taxes, astronomical embedded taxes in every aspect of their business, property taxes, corporate taxes and of course, income taxes. Every bit of their "additional" use of public infrastructure is already paid in full, and then some.

To argue otherwise is to completely ignore the facts that every businessperson is acutely aware of.

*Govangelical:
A person who has irrational faith in all things government despite evidence to the contrary.

This person will also give undo credit and deflect blame to prove their faith and believes that all others should believe the same and will "testify" the awesomeness of their deity whenever faced with a nonbeliever

There's an embedded message in Obama's off teleprompter speech, it's called central planning. If anyone needs to listen again, it's the sheeple who blindly support him.

Obama "who says it's OK to torture children?"

Fox News Headline: Socialist Obama today said "it's OK to torture children"

Saddest part is you idiots would believe it, even when presented the entire quote. Parrots
I suppose BY continuing a war(s) of aggression throughout the middle east and being the figurehead of the U.S. empire he's never killed / tortured children ? Hmm....collateral damage?

See while he may personally not have dropped the bombs or shot the kids he's involved isn't he? Every person that seeks others to kill or steal on their behalf has some responsibility. The problem with government aggression is it layers the acts in so much bullshit everybody can claim "just doing my job" or "following orders" in their attempt to escape any responsibility... or try to.

Obama is no different than any of the power hungry dick wads that came before him or that will follow him. Sure he's good at pretending to be a nice guy, but he's a first class hypocrite.

Can you say "choom gang" ? I can. Anybody that consumes cannabis and still defends this hypocrite needs to do a little thinking. Obama wants to put you in jail for something he did plenty of. He bombs women and children all the while smiling like he's everyone's buddy. ...Fuck him, fuck his bro' Romney too.

is that why he calls the drug war misguided? because he wants to put cannabis smokers into jail?

spin harder, genius.

obama's next move is to end the policy that keeps those convicted of possession from receiving federal loans for education. just watch.

but of course, then you'll just say something about spending, completely ignoring that education is an investment. so predictable.

No, that the infrastructure is paid for is not nearly the point. This is the concept of community and history. It is often said that soldiers gave their lives in order that our system and culture would survive, without those sacrifices the businessman would have no environment in which to build. Now, did that businessman buy those sacrifices? Is he paid up in full? To say nothing of all of the life sacrifices of all the others that made and make this country possible. There are no individual sucesses in this country and to claim there are is to be blind to the reality of the benefits of community and the blessings of what we have as a country.

There is no such message, it is you that place it in his speech. Did he say anthing about planning for another's business? No. He said what he said, it was poorly worded but it is something that even Romney has said, and yet you attempt to pin far more and different "meaning" on his words than are there.

Genius? me ? Hey thanks. He can CALL it misguided, yet he hasn't done jack shit to call for the end of prohibition and laughed at people for the last few years when they asked him to address it via internet questions.

Taking money from Peter to pay for Paul's kids schooling is redistribution under the threat of violence. Some call that theft. You can rename it if you want to, but it doesn't change the nature of the event. When one person "owns" something and another person or group of persons takes it away under a threat it's the same business model employed by the mafia.

When OBAMA pardons every innocent person serving time for weed, he'll get my appreciation....till then he's just another person that wants to control others.

Nice try. You scored a 50% . Taxation IS theft. Government IS bad. Homosexuality is a personal choice. Women have no more or no less rights than anyone else.

Saying taxation is theft is like saying that your having to pay for a your stay at a resort hotel is theft. Government isn't "bad" any more than religion is "bad". Women are liable to have fewer rights than men. Homosexuality is rarely if ever a "choice" any more than heterosexuality is a choice. I can't recall the day I decided to like women and I like them very much. How about you? when did you make that choice and how did you do it? But never mind all of that for a moment - my point was that the whining and the bleating and the moaning comes primarily from the right - they blame the fact that they don't have a job on Obama but preach personal responsibility. They crab about their taxes when their taxes have never been lower, they complain about government take over but are constantly willing to ceede their personal rights to the government, they say they don't trust their government but when there government says "these people are terrorists" and "these people are criminals" they nod their heads and agree.
