so i was out of town for a bit and swim didnt water a seedling and it passed away.

thinking of transplanting a 1 month veg indica called buddha tahoe og into a 4gallon pot hempy. i'm going to wait one day after transplanting and it switch it out from the flourescents and switch her over to a 600W HPS. Do you think it will have enough time to grow roots to the bottom of the pale before it goes fully flower? I know that it still grows vegetatively for about the first 3 weeks of 12/12?

Hmm...I find that sometimes I have to transplant mid flower...so I wouldn't worry too much about filling the pot with roots...people say that MJ doesn't grow roots as fast when it is flowering, and I don't know if they are right, and I am doing something wrong...but my plants grow roots til I kill them...

with hempy it's different, you want the plant to have roots all the way down to the bottom because you cut a drainage hole about a quarter of the way up from the bottom and then there is a pool of water below that hole that the plant sucks up whenever it's thirsty.

I want to transplant it but I don't want it to be come huge so I was hoping the first 2 1/2 - 3 weeks would be a good time frame so it doesn't grow too out of control, limited space.
