i agree with you. i also see no need to extend a temporary tax break for the top 2%. they are doing well enough, we don't need to help them by keeping their tax rates 4.6% lower than they were planned to be.

you do realize that you constantly contradict yourself like you just did, right?

you argue that the middle class does not need any help or breaks, but constantly advocate that the rich and wealthy need more. you are a walking contradiction, a joke.
I wrote Carthoris off as a joke awhile ago...one of those that claim to work 12 hours a day which lets you know what side they should be fighting for instead they fight for the rich..go figure

whereas i won't ask for shit from your garden.

and yet you accuse liberals of being mooches.

try telling that to all the people i work beside that have kitzhaber stickers on their bumpers.

you make horrible, sweeping generalizations that betray a lack of critical thinking abilities on your part.

i mean, for fuck's sake, you argued that a raise from $7.00 per hour to $7.70 for some walmart employee was something to be grateful about.

you are deluded.
If that is the argument you saw, then you obviously believe whatever you want regardless of reality. I don't want anything from your garden, nor do I expect you to give me any. From the sounds of it, you don't think you should give me any of it. That was the whole point.

you and carthoris have very different values.

as a liberal, you have compassion for others.

as a libertarian, other people are the cause of every single one of carthoris' problems.

if everyone would just leave him alone and the government would just stop stealing his money, life would be perfect.

sad person, that carthoris.
I understand why Liberals are the way they are. I also understand that it is wrong to force others to do things they don't want to do. I also understand why it is wrong to tell people they can't have abortions and that they can't get married even if they both have penises. Like my signature says. The party of mind your own fucking business.

I advocate that no one needs any helps or breaks. The entire quote was "Well, what do we consider the 'poor'? We(myself included) seem to be lumping people who make 100,000 a year into that catagory. Our median income is around 50k. These people are solidly in the middle yet still get EIC and the other 'helping' things. Why help people who are already on solid footing?"

All Liberals have some fucked up Robin Hood complex. Yet, the 'poor' is everyone that is in the bottom 2%. I am not arguing for help to the rich and wealthy. I am arguing that everyone should take care of themselves, have personal responsibility, and mind their own business. You will never convince me that people should be treated differently. They should all be treated the same. Rich, poor, middle - you are your own captain, figure it out. Out of a page or two of words you picked out one part of one quote and used it to mount a personal attack against me. Uncle Buck, Thank you for proving you are a fucktard.

I'm not fighting for the rich, I'm fighting for the right to be free and responsible. Please explain why you are against responsibility as an idea?

Who in the "Libratarian",,,Is pro-choice...and That Sig is "Thugish",,lol.....
Libertarian. And why the quotes? As far as my sign being thugish ... what?

While Libertarians hold different ideas on the subject, Libertarians support the right for you to make a decision about your life. I believe abortion is wrong. However, it isn't my decision to make in your life. I believe a lot of things are immoral and wrong, but I wouldn't want you to judge my life and control how I live based on your ideals. Simply put the Dems and Reps are both wrong and their meddling into the individuals life whether economically or morally is a horrible evil.

The U.S. Libertarian Party political platform (2010) states:"Recognizing that abortion is a sensitive issue and that people can hold good-faith views on all sides, we believe that government should be kept out of the matter, leaving the question to each person for their conscientious consideration."

I am not fighting for the rich. I am fighting for what I believe is right and just. Sometimes you have to fight for things that aren't in your best interest. It is called being true to yourself. Something you obviously wouldn't have any interest in.

if you are working 12 hours a day and don't own that business I would say you have no clue what YOU are fighting for...but again you are one of those who thinks Wal Mart takes could care of their employees...LOL..you are a joke

I will be demanding half of the shit you grow.
I don't want anything from your garden
wasn't i just talking about how you contradict yourself constantly?

i was also talking about how you make sweeping generalizations that betray your simplistic thought pattern that rivals the intelligence of a kindergartener with a full frontal lobotomy.

if your point was that i want half of what is yours, show me where i said it.

otherwise, i kindly suggest you take your sweeping generalizations and false caricatures and shove them up your ass.

that is, if you can manage the space, what with the several hamsters and collection of legos you already have lodged deep within that cavity.

Didn't I just point out how you take a piece of a quote out of context and use it as proof? Now you are using two partial quotes that obvious did not mean what they said, and everyone reading knows it. If that is the best you can do, I would suggest you quit the politics forum.

I advocate that no one needs any helps or breaks.
i'll tell that to the blind kid, and the single parent taking care of that kid.

oh, i'll also make sure that message gets to the person who was systematically discriminated against their whole life.

[/B]All Liberals have some fucked up Robin Hood complex.
well, gee golly.

yet another sweeping generalization that holds no semblance of truth.

some liberals just want equal rights for gays, women and blacks. and for women to be treated like more of a human than the fetus that THEY have to carry.

when did robin hood talk about that?

Out of a page or two of words you picked out one part of one quote and used it to mount a personal attack against me. Uncle Buck, Thank you for proving you are a fucktard.
you complain of a personal attack, yet go on to call me a fucktard.

wasn't i just talking about how you CONSTANTLY contradict yourself?

if i am a fucktard, that would make you a blithering fucktard.

let me ask, how do you post so often if you work as hard as you say you do?

you odn't understand shit.

you think someone should be happy about going from a poverty level wage to a better poverty level wage.

you = joke.
And you think that if we gave them a raise to $30 an hour they would all be living a good life, fact is if you raise their pay 5% its because the prices of everything have risen 10%, in the end those pay raises don't even keep pace with inflation, but inflation is certainly the reason we need to keep upping the min wage. But then again most people I know do not work for minimum wage their entire working careers, most just start out at minimum and then after a satisfactory period they get a raise. Perhaps you have never gotten a raise?

eh, not quite what i was talking about, not that what you say isn't sensible enough (as most of the time).

i was referring to his previous statements about how well walmart treats their employees because they give them higher than standard raises, percentage wise at least.

i have never worked a job in which not only did i get several raises, but also promotions (save my current job, but i m not even to the 3 month mark yet, at which point i will negotiate myself a raise. they need me more than i need them, and they would be fucked pretty hard if i quit during the busiest part of the year for them).

Well, Personallly I know my Ex-Wifes Mother has worked at Wal Mart in receiving for about 23 years now, she doesn't get paid a whole hell of a lot, but she has stock options that Wal Mart set her up with and that's worth half a Million now. So they can provide a good retirement if you are smart with your cash. Personally I would like to see more mom and pop stores with real helpful people who know their shit, but it is what it is. People choose value over durability and quality most of the time and with that comes the cost of having a few local businesses fail. Wal Mart just tries to do too much IMO, Jewelry, Auto, Grocery, Department store, Liquor.

i too would like to see more local, small businesses with knowledgeable staff.

but my main objection to walmart, besides their massive importing of chinese SHYTE, is how they treat their employees overall. they would rather shut down a store than give them any chance at bargaining themselves a better hand.

and by the way, i work for about 150% of a walmart wage, which is half of what i used to earn. i can tell you, it is not sufficient to pay the bills of my somewhat modest lifestyle.

i am glad i have a little something something going on the side  (not male prostitution).
