Ya I've read that you won't find out till flowering I was jwing if u could tell in veg. maybe if u let it grow for a while in veg.

Without changing light cycle increase ppms ~ 500. Within 5-7 days you should see

I'm running about 450ish in ppms you say to raise it to 500 or another 500?

Trying to figure out if an led is really worth it, and if it actually save on power? Since in growing in my garage and it's about 35 outside and about 55-60 ish in my garage and about 75-80 in my grow box now, wondering f I would have to use CFLs to keep the temp up high enough I would be in a 4'x2'x4' grow tent by the end of the week. Or should I go with an 250w HID light but I would have to run a cooling system I'm sure with that. So either way I gotta use something else to balance it out haha. Jwing what would be better this is my first grow.

I ADDED the led and maybe saw a 1-2 degree rise in temps (my cab was full of cfls before adding the led)

I'm sure I opened a big debate but I wanna get the best bang for the buck light you know. And I've read too that u get less yields with the LEDs.

Less yields with leds?

99% of all growers who buy led lights are 100% ignorant, and believe the adv hype/lies (I being one of them 3+ years ago). Then they become disappointed/disenchanted

Do your homework, and you will get a quality light and even better yields

I'm just stumped in what to get and want the best bang for the buck for two plants and that will work good in my tent, I'd love to go with the LED panel just not sure if it would hear up the tent enough, if I went the HPS route would I have to use CFLs for they sides of the plants or even with the LED panel?

Buy a small ceramic space heater, put it on a timer/rheostat

Don't rely on others opinions, especially when it comes to leds. I know who to trust, but I ain't given it away.

Haha kk, ya I'm thinking I'll go with the led route and it'll be warmer in my garage once summer gets here anyway and if during the winters it's to cold I'll just get small heater like u said.

Several of those purple kush I mentioned earlier germinated, going to put them in solo cups tonight

and here's a update on both of my plants, about 33 days from seed

Oh sweet I was gunna germinate one of my blue mystic AF tonight and use half coco half per light in the same type of pot/bag ur using!

Ur plants r looking good man I'm gunna put in some more nutes in mine tonight and see if it'll show it's sex in a few days or so.

did an experiment, turned my cfl's off for 2 hours and my temps dropped 10 degrees

the pics just a few posts up, were with the cfl's off, which makes me have to now make sure I have a plan for when 12/12 comes for heat. I'll get a ceramic heater with a thermostat

What temps u at with everything on?
