Ok facts... 40+ years of prohibition and research only to find the reasons why it should be illegal, so far its major concerns are it getting in the hands of minors because of brain development issues, which I might add in 44 years they have not proven this but do suspect it and I can acknowledge that as a issue, drugged driving, and public health even though pulmonary functions appear to remain unaffected by abuse of pot, really? 44 years? Your telling me in 44 years thats all they got? Yet they call for science to fix it? 44 years of blocking progressive research and only allowing studies on negative effects and thats our major concerns? Yet it remains schedule 1, the president acknowledges it is less harmful than alcohol, yet still schedule 1, evidence of progressively helping epilepsy, cancer, wasting, pain, relieving stress, and a wide variety of other ailments from across seas is not called scientific even though those reports are easily available they come from labs, but because its not our governments report (because they prohibit that kinda research) so the evidence that clearly exists is unacceptable, look up marijuana cures cancer on google once, you will find reports that spell out how thc attacks the cancerous cells yet leaves healthy cells unaffected, but because its researched on the other side of the globe its unacceptable here? What sense does that make? OMG the poor police! They will not lose their jobs if pot becomes legal, if anything it would probably be better relations with the average citizen, more time free to pursue people who are actually a threat to society as a whole, they just wouldn't benefit from exploiting loopholes created for them in the justice system, such as asset forfeiture and probable cause, OMG! Yet despite the billions of dollars that we spend on this every year people still try to defend the prohibition of a plant that the human body has adapted a separate network for? We know all this yet still schedule 1. Ok anyway sry about losing sight of the facts I was acting like the federal government for a second, from day 1 that cannabis was actively pursued by our government it has been unjust, by keeping the restrictions we have our very 1st president would have been a felon.... How wrong is that? We've wasted enough lives, time and money on a failed cause, 44 years to be accurate, it remains schedule 1 with no real reason why other than ignorance, fear mongering, and invasion of privacy.
