I didn't think about that but I went back to the site for more info. So at the end of the day, my meter should be a closer approximation all things considered. I use my meter readings (PH and TDS) as a guideline/basepoint and adjust according to what the plant does anyways. At least as much as I can.

Note: All results are daily averages leaving the water treatment plants. The numbers in the distribution system may vary because of detention time and mixing in the system, and a slow decrease of the chloramine residual.

Tell me, does a tds meter register anion or cations and then which majors and minors does a tds pen register...is it even accurate other then reading stock tanks that have a PPM ratio based on its nitrogen ppm...which all.other formulations will.fall.in line too.

That's changes outside of the stock tank or solution because ...well tap is not necessarily formulated by its nitrogen ppms is it
