Tap has been super high as of late, like 280

180, but what's weird is it was 100ppm lower up until a few months ago. I checked my neighbor's water and it was the same. If anything you would think it would be lower because the water is colder now that it's winter. So something is going on.

Usually it’s around 38ppm but my wee one was messing with it and now it’s stuck on x10 and reading 97ppm..
Either way it’s soft as shit and need to add calmag from beginning of stretch up until the last week

Oh no CalMag here with 33ppm water. I have calcium and magnesium in my nutrients.

My PPM is 450 but i'm using a cheap 3€ meter and no calibration, so i can't say for sure.
But i do know that the water is hard, limescale everywhere all the time so i wouldn't be surprised if 450 ppm was correct.
I used pH color strips and it was above 8, almost 9.
I know pH should be around 6, but do you think this high PPM is bad for autoflowers?

Since it’s coco they’ve probably upped the cal and Mag to compensate compared to some others. What brand are you using?
My nutrients schedule from the company calls for added Epsom salts in flower and probably doesn’t account for soft water area.
If I don’t use calmag deficiencies always appear mid flower

Well water at 220ppm (usually). We do have a softening system, but I bypass that to fill my watering containers.
I've come to note that our pH shifts downwards in the winter though. During the summer it's right around 7.1 and now it's hitting closer to 5.8-6.2.

115. I switched from RO to tap when I ran out of RO and found out I didn't have to fuck with the pH at all with tap.

I bought a big bottle of cal/mag before I tested my water for ppm/ec...and it's a damn good doorstop.
Also, after I realized my water was a bit over 200ppm, I switched my GH Trio micro out for the hardwater micro and it was an excellent move. I pretty much never cal/mag my water.

If you're truly at 50ppm you're off a decimal point on your EC counts. 500ppm is 1.0ec (depending on scale).
